When an artist finishes his masterpiece, many times the artist signs his signature on His work. In the same way, when God finished his masterpiece of creation, He signed his signature of holiness in the time of the Sabbath. The Bible says that the Sabbath is also God’s signature of His work in us. We are His masterpiece.

So I’m no scholar of any kind, is Saturday the right day for sabbath?, and how is the day of rest be observed?, I know the part of don’t go to work but what about cooking on that day and just exactly how did the Jews observe on that day. I am always curious on how to live and rest on that day.

I don't Honor the Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday. In scripture it says, the first day of the month is the new moon. It's a Sabbath day. Then count 6 days to work.
The seventh day is the Sabbath again. That the Creator's calendar not the page calendars, we use today. This is how I observe the true Sabbath. Also Sabbath starts at sunrise not sundown. When Jesus was crucified. They had to get him down to prepare him for buried, before Sunrise which was the start of the Sabbath day. Look in Scripture. God's blessings 🙏

Loretta Winters - Oh, boy. God’s Holy Sabbath day does NOT begin at sunrise - that is when the pagan sun god is worshipped. You have made a total mess of God’s perfect Word. Such a shame and such a dishonor to our Creator.

At creation it was,weekly, this is the Sabbath God say to remember.
Isaiah 66 says from one new moon AND from one Sabbath. The new moon a not a Sabbath. Every week is Sabbath from creation.
Just as we have every Monday, tuesday etc. The names were changed by the pagans, but the order of the days are not changed.
The moon didn't determine he days I creation. God named them first second third etc and the 7th day He called Sabbath which means rest. No other day mean rest.
