Alert in Indonesia: Mount Ruang Volcano Erupts, Mass Evacuations Underway

Indonesian authorities have issued a tsunami alert and closed an airport following multiple volcanic eruptions in the country on April 17. Residents have been evacuated near Mount Ruang, the site of the volcano, due to the dangers of spreading ash, falling rocks, hot volcanic clouds and the possibility of a tsunami.
