Very nice ! But no 58s?? I have my parents 58 series 62 sedan they bought in 1960 from a Doctor friend of theirs in Palm Springs. Its Prestwick gray, 2 tone silver interior, optioned up with power windows, and FACTORY AC! I was 1 year old. I was born a huge car nut! and grew up with the car. I fell in love with the caddy and in 1982 mom gave it to me. Shes still on the road, she's 66, I'm 65, so were growing old together! Lol. I do have a problem you might know the answer to. About a year ago, someone stole the in line brake booster vacuum valve! I was mad, but thought I'll just have to get a new one. WRONG! No one has these. Ive spent hours searching for it, even looking for something not original, but would work with no success. So of course without it, the power brakes loose assist and after a few seconds of braking, the pedal becomes rock hard . I remember back in the 70s 80s going to the junkyard to get things for her, but of course they are all gone now. Do you have any idea where I might be able to get one of these darn things! Thx. Oh, and I have subbed! You did a great repair on your friend's 62 with the head gssket repair and the other issues you fixed.
@Cadillac Coach Works hey I have a vin number question for anyone who knows about the early fifties Cadillacs. I have a 51 sedan and the title I hold for the car, the vin tag located on the car firewall on the passenger side near the battery does not have all the numbers that I have on the title.. the title has 9 numbers listed but the vin tag only has about 4 or 5 numbers. Is this normal for these cars? I need to get car inspected because it's a out of state car but I don't want to experience a hickup with law enforcement when they come to check it out.
The vin tag on the frame under generator is the correct vin. Might be covered with paint or grime but it's there. If you need more info email cadillaccoachworks@yahoo
My first car was a 1965 Sedan DeVille I bought for $200 because the owner said it was too long for his driveway and the city told him he couldn’t block the sidewalk walk so I was doing my paper route cause I was 12 and I saw 👀 it and went home and brought back my Dad and the money 💵 🏁
