I would expect a policeman to tell the criminal exactly what to do. He should have been warned not to take the gun out of his pocket or he would shoot him. He shouldn't have yelled to drop the gun. Anyway. The way he yells only makes the situation worse. It's not that I feel sorry for criminals, it's just that it's a weird situation because he was holding the gun down.
