He does look like he's a fan who's been given time with the band and we, as fans, are like "Dude. You are in the band, you know? Did you not get the memo?"
I think because he had a stretch where he wasn't in the band. My guess is that he realized how unique an experience it is being around Claudio and Travis and being in such a successful project with such passionate fans
Mu brother got to go backstage in ohio and he said that everyone in the band was suuuper cool the only thing was he couldn't meet claudio because he wasn't feeling well and I just love following these stories or else I wouldn't have put the fence on my chest
Damn, I'm 29 and started listening to them in 2003 when I was 14yrs old. They've been there for me. Marriage, Kids, deaths.. up and downs.. wow. I grew up with you. Thank you guys for everything.
This is really lovely. I love seeing them work. I love that they are actual friends. I still feel so excited every time I see Josh, even though he has been back forever. The new album is absolutely amazing.
Music has always moved me, an artist or a song, but none have touched my heart, mind and soul more than Coheed. This band, this music, these stories..... I need more! More music, more books, more documentaries, more visuals.... more Coheed.
Watching Josh's face when he plays is the best. He is the biggest Coheed nerd and his enthusiasm as he plays is fantastic. You can tell he geeked out on every single rhythm in every song, and if you listen you can feel that energy.
Every time I see Josh Eppard playing on a set- my day is better. Seriously underrated. Probably the greatest drummer of at least the past couple of decades worth of music. If Josh even reads this stuff, I want him to know that I am only one of many people who are excited to hear his playing on each new song and singling out his parts (accompanied by air-drums).
These albums are always more than just music. They always seem to fit into life in general...whatever may be going on in life at the time it seems there is always a connection to it through this music. I think any true COTF knows what I mean and feels or experiences it too. I will never stop loving or appreciating the things these guys create for us. Can’t wait for my 17th show in Louisville! An amazing experience every time without a doubt!
I've always explained it to folks who haven't heard them that you can listen to them two ways, either following the concept, or strictly the music. Could even be in between I guess.
Best Coheed album ever maybe. It is so well thought through and coherent from front to back. It brings me to tears to find such joy in new music from a band that I have been listening to for nearly my whole life. Coheed will forever be with me and holds a very special place in my heart.
My wife and I were talking the other day about how Coheed has been part of our relationship as a couple since we met 13 years ago. So many memories tied to this band, this story - it's far more than just music to me at this point, and the legacy continues.
It's truly something special to get the buy-in of your friends and bandmates to one's vision - concept-wise, lyrically, musically, artistically. Claud is one of the most gifted visionaries.
Always make the effort to see Coheed and Cambria when they come to the UK to play. It’s like they have a proper diehard fanbase of loyal fans regardless if they are touring an album or not! Great live band and the connection between them is so apparent when they are playing together. Probably seen them 4 - 5 times here in the UK now and can’t really say anything negative about each performance 🎭🤘😎👍🤘
"It feels like it's more than music." That's because it is more than music and why I love you guys so much and how your songs have meaning and actually craft tales with each track.
Coheed you guys are one of the bands I can sincerely say that I have loved watching grow. Each album is uniquely awesome in every way. I'm glad to hear there is no end in the near future. Keep it up!!!
That would be epic. It would be a hard task to do a live action movie or series but perhaps an animated series could work and netflix could be a great place for it. Netflix does mature shows, so there wouldn't be an issue with the content of it. It would be nice, indeed.
If I were to ever be an actor. The only role I would care to play would be Claudio in the Amory Wars. Like I legit have dreams about me being in the Amory Wars doing shit that Claudio does, like phasing through walls and other crazy shit like that. The concept of these albums has engulfed me like a fucking tsunami.
I was in a NY band that booked time at Applehead in October 2002 to record our first EP, based solely on the fact that Coheed had worked there. It was an eye-opening experience and we were pretty terrible but Chris and Mike were really cool and I even used a snare that Josh had played on a few demos. I was awe-struck back then to be recording where they had, and having met them a few times over the years, it is so awesome that they continue to record at Applehead after all these years. What an incredible group of musicians.
This album is superb. Every single member seems so at home, relaxed, and locked in with one another. I'm very excited to hear where this concept goes and love the dark, Blade Runner, sci fi vibes. Oh, and excellent job with the production guys. I hope they continue down that path in the future.
Brings me so much joy to watch these guys write what THEY want to write, what makes them happy. As long as they do that, the sound will be amazing and Ill be a fan. Here's to hoping you guys never stop🤘
I seriously cannot get enough of this album. Which is interesting because I was only feeling "Unheavenly Creatures" and "Old Flames" as singles but I ended up liking everything in the context of the album
To me this album is most unique because it feels like the score to play on Broadway. Without even knowing about the storyline, you can just feel that the album is a part of something more.
so excited for this. definitely yalls best album in the last decade. die-hard fan and i couldnt be more proud of you guys and hearing you excited about your work and all of the time and love that went into it will only make me love the album more.
im glad i was born in this world. truly love these guys work. my goal for myself is to play all of the songs in guitar and get a coheed tattoo. please dont stop making music
The new album is a masterpiece, I haven't listened to anything else since it was released. There's so many layers to it, you hear something new each time. I can't wait to hear the rest of the story!
Thank you, Coheed and Cambria. This album has had a great impact on me. Everyone has a story so I won't bore you with mine, suffice to say I feel like a kid again; so excited by new music; listening and trying to absorb each song and learning to play them; like holding down the rewind button on a cassette player, stretching the tape trying to catch that lick. Thank you for your art, you have given me the inspiration to move forward, away from all that has been, with excitement and energy, to feel and be alive again. All the Best !..!,
I've been listening to the whole album and each song as they were released onto RUclips, and I finally went and bought my physical CD for listening in my car not ten minutes ago. This is my favorite album since Good Apollo V 1 & 2.
As soon as I saw Claudio with that beard I knew they've been digging deep in the lab. On unheavenly Creatures is an amazing album and i can't stop listening.
Honestly this album is slowly becoming my favourite of all the albums! My favorite has always been good Apollo 1 and this album from beginning is just Fucking awesome
The new album is fantastic lads, as always. The hardest part of being a fan is that the day the new record drops I'm already counting the days until the next one.
Please tell me part 2 is full length!!! So beyond happy to see the guys working together, doing what they love to bring us this incredible musical gift. This album is giving me all the Coheed magic I could ever hope for and then some. Thank you!!!!!
The Guns of Summer and the Bombs of Black Sunday! I love these behind the scenes glimpses of what goes into making these albums. I wish I still had all those Deluxe Editions since In Keeping Secrets but sadly some things you just can't get back. So I'm thankful for these video diaries and being able to see the boys in their natural habitat. Especially back at Applehead studios with Chris! P.S. I'd REALLY like to see a 360 Coheed video!!!! PLEASE????
“I have no doubt that the end result would be the best sounding coheed record...” just finished listening to the whole album. Yep, Josh seems to be right.
Really cool to see the guys back here in this studio like in the Good Apollo days... Only missing Mic now. This was a very melancholic video but still pretty exciting.
Absolutely brilliant. You guys were built for this shit right here! Keep clawing forward the inspiration you exude is straight divine creation!!! Love it! Thank you!
As always, Coheed does not disappoint (that's me, your opinion may vary)! Claudio's vocals are as great as ever and the band seems tight and cohesive. Seeing you guys smiling in the studio, whilst getting stuff done, is awesome and inspiring. No World For Tomorrow definitely feels like a lifetime ago and could have very well been the pinnacle for Coheed but alas, you keep going strong amd that is a positive in a world that seems to get progressively more negative. If there's a physical copy of the new album, I need to buy it!
On first listen, I really only liked the songs put out before release (incl. Love Protocol). But as I've listened to it more, it's truly an amazing album through and through. Can't wait to see how the rest of the Vaxis story unfolds.
Who else wants a new Coheed DVD!?
@@TheHangedMan Na...laser disc!
Netflix documentary.
Yes please!
YUP
Shit, I'd settle for a VHS or Beta Max at this point
Josh Eppard is truly the biggest Coheed fan
We all need to aspire to be able to fangirl as hard as Josh does. Which is great because him loving what he does comes through in his playing.
Also the luckiest, i mean, he literally works with the guys
He does look like he's a fan who's been given time with the band and we, as fans, are like "Dude. You are in the band, you know? Did you not get the memo?"
I think because he had a stretch where he wasn't in the band. My guess is that he realized how unique an experience it is being around Claudio and Travis and being in such a successful project with such passionate fans
I was so happy when he came back to the band
There's something magical about watching these guys do their thing. They've got this larger than life sound, but they seem so approachable.
Their creativity is palpable. It's intense to behold, but completely righteous.
@@Shawn607 well said!

Haven't stopped listening to the album since it dropped. You've done everything right, masters of your craft!
Claudio is a god and a genius to be able to come up with all of this material.

Benjamin James totally fits into my life almost identical in fact. Dealing with women problems

Still waiting for that Amory Wars movie I'm never going to see (or series... would maybe be a good netflix feature or something like that).
If I ever get enough money I'll make it with the band
That would be epic. It would be a hard task to do a live action movie or series but perhaps an animated series could work and netflix could be a great place for it. Netflix does mature shows, so there wouldn't be an issue with the content of it.
It would be nice, indeed.
I'd love to see all this come to life. I think Afterman is the one to start with. Very vivid. Unheavenly Creatures is right up there with Afterman
They so need to make that happen !

I just listened to this whole album for probably the 6th time while mowing the lawn. Not one skippable song; it's all just so finger-licking good ;)
I consider it a huge privilege and honor to be a Coheed fan
Please don't ever stop making music.

I always get chills when I see Claudio in the booth. And my god Josh looks like he's having waaaaaaaaay too much fun behind the drums.
I can't even describe how much I love this new album. I've listened to it non-stop since Friday, and I still get goosebumps. Well done, boys. Truly.
Fuck yes just like the old days !!! New record new studio footage !! THANK YOU
I seriously cannot get enough of this album. Which is interesting because I was only feeling "Unheavenly Creatures" and "Old Flames" as singles but I ended up liking everything in the context of the album
Love this!! The passion of the creation, ideas and telling an epic tale are clearly felt and heard! This is why I adore Coheed!
To me this album is most unique because it feels like the score to play on Broadway. Without even knowing about the storyline, you can just feel that the album is a part of something more.

Grayson Hanes In the last decade I would say is Afterman Ascension. This is their third worst album ever imo
im glad i was born in this world. truly love these guys work. my goal for myself is to play all of the songs in guitar and get a coheed tattoo. please dont stop making music
cant get enough C&C. saw them last month and it was unreal
The new album is a masterpiece, I haven't listened to anything else since it was released. There's so many layers to it, you hear something new each time. I can't wait to hear the rest of the story!
Josh's drum face gets me every time
One of the best albums. Cannot wait to see what else is planned. Shoulders is great!
Over the years of every album, you(I do) begin to think of coheed and cambria( the story characters) as actual people. How flippin genius.
So vaxus has five parts? I’m down with 4 more Coheed albums.
That was exactly my thought! "Oh, a pentology you say?"
yeah, its a 5 part-er. The Character, Vaxis, is yet to come in to his own, apparently ;)
I speculate that there's one for each of the five houses of the Star Supremacy. Stars are frequently five-pointed after all.
VAXIS* :p
I hope vaxis is metal asf. And we hear some no world for tomorrow / good apollo vibes
V1:UC is an incredible album. You can tell there is so much love put into every little part of it. Can't wait to see more behind the scenes footage.
Thank you, Coheed and Cambria. This album has had a great impact on me. Amazing album guys. The hard work and original ideas have paid off and made Unheavenly Creatures an awesome album
Just a fantastic album. Thanks!!
What an absolutely stunning album, it's incredibly good

I'm so pumped! See you guys in Madison, WI on Nov. 9th!
And you nailed it. Amazing record.
See ya in St. Louie! Amazing band

I went to their CD release show in nyc. It was excellent.
Claudio's voice get better and better by the year. Love you, guys!
Keep it up guys! Can’t wait for a Coheed and Cambria movie
Dude this new album is in-fucking-credible! Sounded amazing and had a vibe like your first two albums great work as always guys!
This album is soooo good! I love watching them create it and get excited, especially Josh

Yall are my heroes! SICK album #LiveOnAmoryWars
Thank you for all you do fellas. Love the new album!
Now I have to go listen to the album again :-)
I'm loving a long way back
Cant wait for you guys to come to Munich on April!
Every once in a while I'll sit down and re-watch The Fiction Will See The Real and it's almost surreal to see a video like this where they are now.
“I have no doubt that the end result would be the best sounding coheed record...” just finished listening to the whole album. Yep, Josh seems to be right.
MORE!!!!
I love every single song and all the cool concepts that they create! Never stop what you're doing ❤

Yessss! Back to conceptual 😍
The new record SLAPS
Slapa da bass
Gonna need some more of these...keep it going.
...and it's a brilliant album. 👍
first time crowd surfing, thank's for coming to philly!!!
ride that wave my guy
To us you have always been more than music! :)
I love that the guys document everything they do. It really helps us all feel like we’re part of the band.
Very cool. Can't wait to see more.
i love them so much.
You succeeded. This is your best album to date. I am infatuated with it.
Solomon Iglesias Infatuated. Obsessed. Immersed. I am all.
Joey Eppard and 3 need to do some stuff with Coheed. A match made in heaven.
Sounds like they're only about half way through their lifetime discography...this is truly exciting.
I am so happy that you guys are doing more music! I've been a long time fan seeing this video was so exciting lol
Amazing. I love everything they do
On first listen, I really only liked the songs put out before release (incl. Love Protocol). But as I've listened to it more, it's truly an amazing album through and through. Can't wait to see how the rest of the Vaxis story unfolds.
