@cavedweller1959 I love the vids! I just got a Franchi Momentum in 6.5 Creedmoor and bought a Boyd's for it. I want to glass-bed it but I'm having trouble finding any videos on the process. Did you glass bed yours or did Boyd's bed it for you? If you did it can you tell me what you did with the recoil lug? Did you somehow transfer it to the Boyds or eliminate them when you mounted the action to the Boyds? Keep up the great vids!
The new stock should have come with a lug. Been a while, don't recall for sure. But if the bedding video is not on my Y-T page, it's on my Patreon page.
Stick with the first group CD and buy some more Sierra,s if you can get them ..I run 44.5 of Mulwex AR2208 (you call it Varget ) and 155gr Sierra,s ,25thou off here in Australia .. in Tikka .308 .Keep up the great Vids .. JR
I see you went from the black synthetic stock in first review to the nice looking wood stock. Did you exchange your rifle? Or simply buy a wood stock ?
Not real big into the AR rifle platform, but it sounds like a winner to me. Hornady developed it for hopefully being an upgrade to the 5.56 by the military. If that happens, it's guarantied instant civilian success. Let's hope it happens that way.
4:47 misfire. No time allowed for hang fire. Ejects the round and handles with both hands. You should know better. Nobody should be in this much of a hurry. However rare hang fire happens i have experienced it a couple times over the years but more important there are several videos that show it happens enough to give it a minimum of 30 seconds before ejecting a failed to fire round. Keep your eyes and figures or more important you life.
Beautiful setup and good shooting, you didn’t flinch when it misfired,👍🏻
Hey CD you do a great job holding the rifle the same way each time, like a machine. I try telling people and most do not listen.

Sorry, but I'm not great with tech, what is a "Patreon page"?
@@greg4727 At the end of most of my videos, there is a big orange square, click on it. You'll figure it out.
