Girl you need an air fryer!! So easy for all the things you love. Roasted veggies, chickpeas, tofu, even chicken! Also invest in a digital thermometer!!! Just need to cook your chicken to 165 deg F. Then it’s done. You won’t have to worry about overcooking or undercooking ❤

THIS! Seriously! I wasn't intrigued on all things air-fryer at first, then... bam! Purchased one and it's been the only thing that has been constantly active in my kitchen now :D
An air fryer would solve her chicken problems for sure.
I am pretty sure her stove has this feature. Hopefully she sees these comments and tries it and I think it might make it easier on her when trying to cook chicken

chicken advice!! Don't flip half way through, it may avoid that "soft" feeling, since it'll crisp up nicer if it doesn't move around while cooking - you'll also avoid any kind of cross contamination. Invest in a meat thermometer, so you can temp your chicken when it comes out (165F) to make sure its cooked to the proper internal temperature. If you still want your chicken to be nice and juicey, cook it a little lower for a little longer - 350F for about 25-30 minutes is usually the golden time for chicken breasts.

You can try and chop or dice up the chicken into small bits and mix into your bowl. It will disguise any rubbery texture. You can also mince it up and make chicken salad. 😊
Every time I watch you vlogs I read immediately after. You convinced me to start reading on the kindle App with my IPad mini and I love it! I could never get into reading when having to lug a physical book around but now that I can just throw it in my bag it’s amazing. I’ve read 19 books this year !
I need you to read fourth wing and Acotar, then you can dip into throne of glass. Iron flame comes out of November 7th and you will just need to pick up that second book. I really think you’ll love them. Acotar is what brought me from a romance girlie to a romantasy girlie. Such a game changer!

I LOVE that you’re buying the physical books too! At the beginning of the year I was reading physical books and I’ve read so many more since getting my kindle and one day I want to add all of the physical books to my shelf 🥹❤️
Love, LOVE the book nook idea. I buy random books both novels and reference(got a pretty large library rn) but I do the favorite thing with physical versions of my favorite albums/movies/tv shows.
Love the book book idea. My dream is to have a library in my home with all of the books I’ve read. But you should definitely display them somewhere you can see them everyday. It would be so pretty

The waitlist at my library for this book was so long. I started 1,415th in line and I’m down to 811th in line. It’s crazy.

You probably tossed the chicken by now BUT if you accidentally overcook it like that in the future, I use mine for soup! Lean into the overcook and slow cook it in broth or stock for a few hours and it'll turn into fall apart chicken deliciousness for a soup base!
I got back into buying physical books. They just hit different. I am thankful that I also have an AMAZING used bookstore by me that I can get older and out of print books.
LOVE THE VLOG!!! ❤❤Something fun i do is that i read all my books on my kindle and the books that i really enjoyed i purchase as a hardcover/paperback so i have a curated collection based on my faves!
One of my fave ways to cook chicken to make sure it’s not gross (lol) is to put it in a crockpot with enchilada sauce (I’m sure you could do it with curry or broth or something) and let it cook for a few hours. After that you can shred it so the texture isn’t ever weird! I’ll use it in bowls or salads or soup and it’s the best :)
I'm a big fan of hard-copy books. Some day... many, many years from now you will look at the books you have read and loved and reread your favorites and it's awesome. Your mom "Don't google" 😆

The nice part about having some of your favorite books in hard copy is that when your kindle dies or brakes you have your favorites to read until a new kindle comes in the mail. I’m on my third kindle. I have around 2000 books on the kindle, all of which I have read. I had about 600 books in hard copy, but had to get rid of about 2/3 of them to fit the tv for my husband. I’ve always been a reader.

Totally feel you on the chicken and once it’s over cooked it’s over for me😂 I feel like you could benefit from getting a meat thermometer so that way you can be 100% it’s cooked by the Temperature and you don’t get nervous! It helped ease my anxiety about it for sure:)

Wrap your chicken in tinfoil or butcher paper when you cook it in the oven. Ovens evaporate the chickens moisture so you have a seal it in. (:

Tara, for cooking chicken I highly recommend a meat thermometer…when it hits the right temp, you know it’s fully cooked!
Also, just wondering if you’ve ever read a Kristin Hannah book? I thought of her book The Great Alone when you mentioned the one you’d read about a girl going to Alaska, as it is set in Alaska as well. Great book, great author IMO

I heard if you cook cold chicken it comes out rubbery. If you let it come to room temp (let it sit out for 30 min before cooking) it comes out tender. Idk if it works, like if you’ve heard this or tried it.

A little hack for making the chicken super juicy and tasty - marinate it in a little bit of greek yogurt mixed with lemon juice - you will never get a rubber texture with this and it's the best tasting chicken ever

one thing to try that I love doing with chicken, when you put it on the tin foil, wrap it up. it keeps the steam in an soo tender. I have this seasoning I get from the $ tree. pepper and garlic. that is it!

I dont comment on vlogs often but cant help but recommend putting your treadmill somewhere more open, maybe over by your window area at the living area or maybe you can make a covered area by your porch. This is for your safety while running and also an open area/view will make your running more enjoyable 🥰

So nice seeing you and Jill together! If you feel sick at all Re the bite, you might want to see a Dr. If it is a spider bite, they can make a person feel really sick. Re the chicken, it may have been overcooked which in my view, just makes it touch and maybe stringy, but it will be cooked and wouldn’t then be undercooked.

I went to a bookstore the other day and was SHOCKED how long some of my favorite books were. There were two over 1,000 pages. Thankful for the kindle because otherwise I would have been so intimidated and might not have read them
