- We are on the September 24, 2022 sailing out of Port Canaveral, and we've just arrived at our first port of call. San Juan, Puerto Rico!
We are doing a self-guided walking tour of Old San Juan (Google Maps is your best friend). In 1963 they invented the Pina Colada at the Barrachina restaurant, which just happens to be out first planned stop.
Sue has her sights set on shipping (What else is new?) - We plan on going to Raíces for lunch to sample their famous Mofongo.

We will be cruising in the Mardi Gras at the end of the month and one of the ports is Puerto Rico. We are also planing to eat at Raíces Restaurant. I’m happy to hear that you enjoy your visit and yes we hope that the umbrellas are up when we go, since my daughter is looking forward to take pictures of it.

Barrachina is a tourist trap. The Piña Colada was not invented there. It was invented somewhere else nearby.
True it was invented in caribe Hilton hotel 1954 by a man name Ramon who was a bartender their in San Juan
Nothing like multiple tests. Ye old Pina Colada.
We are already planning on doing more research on the subject. Joe seems to think more testing is required.
