Thanks for being really honest about struggling to look forward to a piece of art after work. It really resonated with me as I'm someone who struggles without structure, and I've definitely blamed myself for not always having the passion to draw more when really I just need to be interested in the goal in front of me and what Im learning. I'll definitely be revisiting this video when I need a reminder!
it does sound like you're in the same boat as me - definitely give it a try to have small projects with some clear plan that give structure to your practice, the motivation is much higher like that!

Art style is about digging a specific abstraction technique. Adapting and combining what you love the most about artworks and adapting actively digging those techniques. So it is not something comes out naturally not at all. Every artist has some "hero artists" that they adopt a style or aspect from. So "Just draw" is only for beginners who are rushing it without the fundamentals. The intermediate aspiring solid fundamental people need to carve out their soul for a well educated decisions on their standards, professional setting, aesthetic pursuits and career purposes also how to monetize and market it after all of these are done. The famous "Consistency in style" only comes after doing this groundwork.
