Since the pronouncement of the famous statement kumi yangu kumi yake, Ruto's knew his presidency was automatic and has been on the campaign the last four years, the mistake he did, he went overboard extent of outshining his boss,in fact Ruto behaved like President and this one of the reasons Uhuru has changed his mind, so when the handshake came, he was advised by the kikuyus chief tribalist likes of Ndindi nyoro, Ichunwa, Rigathi, Ngunjiri, Esther wahome etc that if he associate himself with Odinga, Kikuyus will not vote for him, this is one Reason why Ruto bolted out of handshake but seems is not working with him well coz Raila's presidency is rising not only in mt Kenya but Kenya at large.
