I watch BTS' and get fascinated with their amazing stage presence. I decided to come back to a BB performance then realize how much stage presence without even having to dance and just fooling around with each other. We can agree that BTS is the kings of kpop today and how influential they are. However I think anyone that knew and watched BB from the OG days know this: BigBang were not only kings, but legends and gods of kpop. They turned every stage performance into a party and exerted so much stage presence with just their voices and actually interacting with their crowd. We wait for your return BigBang... Not just the VIPs but all fans of kpop
In order to be actual performer you don't need to execute every piece of choreography, interaction with the crowd is far more important, that's why BIGBANG are the ABSOLUTE KINGS, no need for demanding choreography when you get crowd on your side by your stage presence and confidence alone
In my opinion, Bigbang gives the best live performances. I mean listen to their crowd, it's like all hell break loose out there. Must be really fun watching them at concerts. And gotta love Seungri shoving Seo and Hyeo to dance

People use Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Rihanna etc as the standard to be measured against in the music industry. In K-pop the standard to be measured against is BigBang, EXO, SuJu (plus Michael Jackson etc)...for other upcoming bands they'll be measured with BTS as one of their standards. BigBang being the Kings Of K-Pop make them the ultimate measure. No fan wars needed for verifiable facts.

In my case it's less about comparison and more about the respect that artists like BigBang deserve, they are very much still in the music industry and they deserve respect (even when they do leave). If a newly debuted boy group came out and started outpacing BTS and some of the fans of that new group tried to downplay BTS, I would be just as peeved. Respect is due where it should be given.
