Long story short, Kesha just settled a lawsuit against her evil ex-record label only 2-3 days before this was uploaded. She originally sang the cotton candy song but they had to replace her with someone else. Then they couldn't include the song because Kesha still helped to write it, meaning the evil record label could still claim the video and everything in it as their property and because the song takes up a good chunk of the episode, they couldn't really remove it, so the decision was made to delay the episode until it was safe to upload.
She also voice acted Beelzebub!
Better than having no Kesha. It was worth the wait

fun fact! Queen Bee isn't just some popular person, she mentions it at the beginning of the episode brief when she was introducing herself. but she is in fact Gluttony. "the Queen Bee of Gluttony" is what she said, and her full name is Beelzebub, a lot of people have been criticizing her design and complaining about it not being more bee like or not being more grotesque like most depictions of Beelzebub tend to be, but they also fail to realize this is Vivzie's personal interpretation of Hell and its Sin's.

Also, while she does have some Bee-like look to her design, her wings are a pair of two like flies instead of four wings like a bee has. I’m guessing Beelezebub took the beehive aesthetic to match the party environment.

Most people that I know (including myself) that eat an endless amount of food are also skinny. So I like Bees design even more
They also misinterpret what "Gluttony" actually means. It's just overindulgence in anything. It's not just eating till you're the size of someone on My 600 Pound Life. People think so narrow-mindedly about words.
It's also a goddamn cartoon show made to be fun and weird, it's sad that people give a single crap and fail enjoying the show for such petty bs.

Being the Demon of Gluttony, she's all about over indulgence. Just go all out, gorge yourself. That's what she wants, and she's willing to accommodate.
Like she says "I'm what you want, not what you need"
She's the one sin so far who is completely open and honest about it. She doesn't even have to pretend to be nice because it's in her own interests to be genuinely a nice person. It's kinda great actually. I'd chill at her party.
Yet even SHE was like, "I think he's had enough" about Blitzo.
Like imagine the Demon of over indulgence saying you need to STOP...

The only time when we hear the mantra of "Blitzo is gonna die alone" is from Season 1 episode 6 during the dream high sequence, meaning Fizzarolli didn't really say any of that and it's all in Blitzo's head, as that's what he really thinks Fizz thinks about him
If blitzo does die or has a very near death experience at some point in the show he'll be surrounded by everyone who loves and cares for him

Yeah, I also think he's mostly saying that as flashing back to his self-reflecting hallucination as if his realizations during it caused him some trauma, trauma that reared back up with his inferiority complex during Ozzie's earlier the same night as this episode- not only did Ozzie embarrass Stolas into hiding his affections for Blitz, making Blitz think that not even Stolas cares that much about him, but right before that Fizz called Blitz a disgrace and said he's always having bad relationships. Having a night like that making him feel like he's unloved would just make his fear of dying alone worse. Poor guy really needs some therapy, and for proper communication between him and Stolas. :(
@@connorredshaw7994Tex and Bee seemed concerned for his well being here, I could see both of them genuinely caring for him.
One other thing that's important is that the last episode was the one that Blitz and Stolas went to Asmodious's club and Blitz was in a really bad place emotionally.
When it comes to the demon princes we've seen so far, Bee's easily the most chill and funnest so far. Really nice change of pace from all the stuck-up royals we've gotten. Girl's not even the slightest bit ashamed to be open with dating essentially a lower-rank demon.
Well she is voiced by Kesha whom one of thr creators is a fan of ...imagine getting ur fav singer to voice a stereotypical bitchy high class character....would feel insulting right
Well if you look into Asmodeus’s behavior, it’s pretty clear he’s putting up a front of some sort. At least to some degree. I’m wondering if it’s mostly just the nobility that’s fucky, since the Lords are potentially old enough to have been around since before the schism that got the heavenly host evicted from Heaven.

And the demons who are the embodiment of the 7 deadly sins are not on the same level as demons like Stolas.

Really dope character design and spin on the sin of gluttony she looks like the patron of hellhounds but I can’t wait to see more designs for the sins and other higher beings

For context this episode is after what happened at ozzies and also the voice of queen bel was in a legal battle with her evil producer so they couldnt post the episode until recently
Fun fact: Bee is short for Beazlebub, the demon/4 hoursemen’s gluttony. Meaning she’s probably one of the most powerful characters we’ve met yet.
She’s also voiced by Kesha herself.
Yeah you can see her Sigil behind her during part of the song. Asmodius is also one of the Seven so we've met 2 of the Sins so far.

Another act added to Lucifer's circus! It's fascinating to guess at the future designs of the 7 Princes we havent seen with the knowledge that each of the 7 represent a different kind of circus act. Some are speculated from context on the show, Satan being a strong man and Mammon being a clown, while we know Bee represents animal acts/performances and Asmodeus represents circus dancers or acrobats (Debated), and Lucifer occupying the role of Ring Leader. While we can only speculate on the acts that Belphegor and Leviathan represent, though I think Belphegor could represent a Magician's Act.
I mean it all makes sense.
Can we acknowledge the that for a moment Loona was ready to fight one of the most powerful beings in Hell? It’s only a second or two BUT she wasn’t backing down when Queen Bee transformed and would’ve fought her if it wasn’t for Vortrex’s expression
Still, Queen Bee instantly became one of my favorite, if not my favorite, Helluva Boss character
Loona realized in that moment that she was making a fool of herself with that argument.
I think Bee may take first place for favorite character in Hazbin and Helluva. Beating out Stolas and Al.

"Fucking Christ on a stick you would be a Dennis!!" Easily my favorite bit of the episode.
I already saw others go over the deal with Kesha, her record label and her voicing Beelzebub here, so not going to beat a dead horse.
But I do have some things of my own to note.
1) I thought she was singing "Garden candy" at first until I saw that the name of the song was "cotton candy". I still only hear "Garden Candy", but... it is what it is.
2) More importantly, this episode takes place right after the Ozzy's restaurant fiasco which wrecked Blitz's and Stolas' relationship. Like... right after. The phone call Loona got at the start of the episode her is the call Blitz made at the end of that episode.
3) Although Beelzebub is generally considered to be the Lord of the Flies, Helluva Boss made her into a bee-fox-lavalamp hybrid instead. Which to me is a little out there, but again, it is what it is. At first I got HUGE red flags from her, but now that I know more about her context, I don't think Bee is going to be an enemy for our crew.
Some fun trivia Viv shared about that Dennis joke- she came up with it herself, and Brandon (Rogers) was impressed, telling her it's just like something he'd write (just like his brand of comedy writing).

Tbh I don’t really know exactly why she’s a hellhound but her being a bee hybrid makes sense since beezlebub and queen-bee sorta correlate if you get what I mean. Also it was stated by Viv that the “lava lamp” in her stomach is support to represent her never ending desire and hunger (gluttony)
This was a fun episode due to seeing Blitz go that far for Loony and Loony showing him some genuine love and calling him dad.

@@millgiass Bee isn't about to murder someone like Loona. Especially with her boyfriend right there, at the public party, and she's just quick to anger, not really violent. Loona is far more violent as she's killed lots of people. Those Exorcist agents and such.
yeah now some thing in season 2 come into better context like Loona talking about "Dads' issues" with Octavia. And also when you realize Vortex, a HELLHOUND who is considered lower than an IMP in Hell's social order, is dating one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Really starting to feel the masters and commoners will always breed vibe.
According to the wiki, they aren't "lower" than imps, but rather equal in terms of rank.
@@krazytreRTM I'm not seeing hellhounds calling imps "theirs" or Imp adoption agencies. So I'll just respectfully disagree on that point. Either way, they're MUCH lower than Bee is.

"Hellhounds, also known simply as Hounds, are a species of Demons native to Hell that resemble canines such as dogs and wolves. They share the lowest ranking in Hell's hierarchy alongside Imps."
Whether that's correct or not, I can't say. Just simply sharing.
It is interesting and it again makes me question the societal standing of Hellhounds

Also I am pretty sure that Viv is going somewhere with the Bee's look, just like with Azmodeus and others but... prince of Gluttony should not be size 0...just feels wrong

I'm so happy we got some father daughter bonding in this episode. And I love that Loona finally called blitzo dad not once but twice.
I still can't believe they got Kesha to voice Bee in this episode unreal she was perfect for the character and I hope this isn't the last we see of her.
Finally when she looks after him at the end of the episode was heartwarming to watch.
I give this episode a 8.5/10 if it was five or minutes longer id probably give it a 9 or a 10/10

So that was Beelzebub “Bee” for short. She is the ruler of the Gluttony ring like Asmodeus is the ruler of Lust and Satan is ruler of Wrath which is why she said he is kinda like a brother tho not really. So far she seems to be one of the nicer demons but we aren’t fully sure yet. She did mention how she couldn’t get the drugs from Belphegor who is the ruler of the Sloth ring which apparently is a medical themed ring and where the hospital was. Some think her lava lamp design has to do with how she can eat a lot and it just gets burned up so she doesn’t get fat.
Tex mentioned in episode 3 that his girlfriend throws tons of parties so it seems these are a constant thing. It’s theorized that many of the hounds get drunk and then hook up leading to them having lots and lots of pups which is why they have such a big adoption center. She also apparently feeds off peoples energy as we saw that she stated she was high on all the energy going on and then later how she said she could feel that Blitz’s energy was giving off a bad vibe.

One thing I really liked was that the first part of this episode we can feel how out of place Luna feels. And visually we can see it, but the vibe of a party and even the bright colors of it all is pretty new. But what really set it apart for me was when Blitzo came driving up and we hear that background theme music. Its closer to what we normally hear and gives familiarity that at least had me as relieved as Luna looked to be.

I think for a little clarification. You had mentioned Loona ignoring Blitz's call because of him getting her vaccinated. If I am not mistaken, this episode doesn't take place in the current Season 2. This was suppose to be the actual Season 1 Finale. But from what I heard, the character of Queen Bee was voiced by Kesha and the song she did caused some legal issues with her old record label. This resulted in the episode's release being delayed until just recently. So yea, from a time-line perspective, the events of this episode take place at the end of Season 1 despite it being released in the middle of Season 2.
in S1Ep7, Blitz is calling Loona while tailing M&M to the Lust ring, that is the call she ignores in the beginning of this episode, which is a neat bit of context

She feeds off vibes. I think she genuinely wants to cultivate good feelings (even if it’s for her own selfish ends producing intoxicating Beelzejuice) but she’s still Beelzebub, Gluttony, Lord of the Flies.
She’s part of Mammon’s camp, she wants to make a Heaven out of Hell, and she’ll stuff you full of fluff and artificial happiness reaching for that light because she does NOT. DO. DOWNERS.
Still, this episode was the counterpoint to Ozzie’s. Asmodeus’ version of indulgence is selfish, reveling in taking and losing. Beelzebub is all about giving. Encouraging. A feedback loop of reaching . When you’ve been deprived of, or deprive yourself of pleasure, like Loona has, there’s nothing wrong with getting a little more cotton candy in your life.

Bee is an empath, literally surviving off the energy that comes off of others. Her entire interaction with Loona is her trying to catch that vibe and mirror it. She starts as a party girl, realizes that Loona's uncomfortable so she switches to a friendly and caring vibe. Then when Loona blurts out embarrassing stuff, Bee comes back with an embarrassing story of her own. She can't pin down Loona's vibe because it keeps shifting all over the place.

I love how we're introduced to another Sin (Queen BEElzebub) and how different from Ozzie she is while also similar... she's less mean and more open to her followers, yet they are both performers and they are both tied to lower class demons (QB to Tex and Ozzie to Fizz) showing also how different they are from Hell's nobility: remember how horrible Stella is towards imps? These two are quite the opposite.
How do you think Satan will be? The imps worship him like a god. So it makes me wonder what his persona will be like.

Blitzo aspires to be aknowledge as indipendent, a "self made man" and Stryker will go to any lenght to achieve his goals and escape submission to other demons.

To talk in One Piece terms.. She probably ate the "Honey-Honey Devilfruit" hehe and sounds lame and ha ha sticky.. but if she could transform her whole body into honey and manipulate it..? Truly powerful. I don't trust her, but i won't mess with her either. She is one of the Seven after all

Lucifer (Fallen Angel of Pride), Satan (Devil of Wrath), Leviathan (Dragon of Envy), Asmodeus (Nephil of Lust), Mammon (Demon of Greed), Belphegor (Demon of Sloth), Beelzebub (Fallen Angel of Gluttony)
Asmodeus was right it was his cluband entire Lust Ring. Asmodeus and Queen Bee = Beelzebub are true good Gigachads in good ways.
Others Deadly sins are worst like Satan, Mamon or Even Lucifer
Beelzebub, or Bee as she likes to be known here, is one of the most powerful beings in Hell. In terms of power and influence, she's so up there that most believe Beelzebub and Satan are one in the same.
And the demon Bee mentions, Belphegor, will be Sloth in this. Bel is a representative of Sloth according to the writings about them, so that's what I would assume her position is if we ever meet her.
To clarify, Bee is Beelzebub a.k.a the Sin of Gluttony.
Meanwhile, Satan in this universe is treated as a separate entity from Lucifer, he's the Sin of Wrath, while the latter is the ruler of Hell and the representative of Pride.
Did you regonize that Loona don't care about Bee's Demonform when she got angry? But when Tex got uncomfortable how his girlfriend were acting she said "Okay" and check up on Blitz. She probably has every right to kill her on spot, but she did not and get back to chill..
We don't know much about the hierarchies in Hell, but Loona is a Hellhound and if my theory is correct, she's practically a slave and doesn't have the right to speak to Beezlebub (Queen Bee) like that... but it's impressive that she got herself sorted out then. It could still be very important to have her on "her" specially on I.M.P's side to help out in emergeancies. Remember, Stolas is in hospital..
Especially when Blitz and the others about to meet Mammon, pretty soon Embodiment of Greed... and I'm sure he will be anything but nice.
Greed is the most disgusting attribute of a character in my opinion, but accordingly I think the representation of the 7 Deadly Sins is fantastic.
Btw this episode is somewhat during and right after episode 7 of season one. Like same canonical day
So if you've watched episode 7 and Hazbin Hotel. We now have seen 3 of the 7 Deadly Sins. A 4th being mentioned by name. We got Kesha's Beelzebub as Gluttony, Asmodeus as Lust, Belphegor as Sloth and we got Charlie's dad. Lucifer as Pride.
FYI the copyright issues arose from the fact that Kesha voiced the Beelebub voice and her record wouldn't allow her to sing the song. In the end, Kesha voiced the character but another voice actor had to sing the song.
Loona isn't a moody teen. Firstly, she's almost 23 so not even a teenager. Blitz adopted her when she was 17 and it's been at least five years since then based on how long he's had to wait for her doctor's appointment. Second, the hellhound poodle knowing Loona (who had never been invited out to parties like this at least since before her adoption) along with Blitz finding her in a pound and not through the normal ways hellhounds are acquired is a HUGE indication as to Loona's past. Meaning Loona had been someone else's hellhound before being dumped in the pound. Likely someone high class or royalty given that she was in a situation to be at a party that the hellpoodle was at to get the pic of Loona.
She's not moody, she's just as deeply traumatic an upbringing as Blitz and Moxie.
I don't think that you know that but Queen Bee full name is actually Beelzebub, she is one of the seven deadly sins (she is the sin of gluttony), meaning she is one of the seven princes of hell and she the lord of gluttony ring(every sin is the lord of one of the rings), so she is like one of the most beings in hell, she is even more powerfull than Stolas in terms of both political and magical power

It seems to be a nice closure of season 1 that answered some questions during Season 2 as fans was wondering about Blitz’s POV after the part of Ozzie’s Episode. As Blitz was hurt during the aftermath and head for picking up his daughter but got overwhelmed to part to drink his way to forget the fight between Stolas and him. As it’s sad to hear Blitz still remembering on what Fizz say to him. It hit home 😭 So far I hope the fifth episode of season 2 bring some comfort or chill zone from this final episode we watched.
Also I got to state that Queen Bee during the time when drinking challenge with Blitz, you can see in the background she is concerned till after the game is over. As o believe this is second time that someone other than Ozzie, Fizz, and Verosika felt concern to Blitz. As the ones who concern about him is being Millie, Moxxie, Stolas and Loona. As they are his family that they would be there for Blitz no matter what.
I rather think it will backfire really bad.. because Blitz & Stolas avoiding true communication. And the real threat is getting closer: Striker, Andrealphus, Crimson, Fizzarolli, and for sure.. Mammon...

Why make the O silent it's pronounced the same way without it. I don't get silent letters sometimes.
Blitz's birth name was Blitzo, where the o at the end was pronounced- "blit'zo". From the pieces of his life we've gotten in episodes so far, from a young age he had aspirations grander than the relatively low circus life, and eventually left his family's circus. My theory is that Blitz(o) started making the "-o" silent in his name because it made his name a clown's name and he wanted to cut off connections to the circus, to make his own identity ("Blitz" as he introduces himself to new people afterward). Why he can't outright drop the "o" from his name is unclear; maybe imps aren't allowed to legally change their names, and making the "o" silent in pronunciation is the best way of him getting around that, and making anyone who knew him as "Blitzo" to call him by his new identity.

She seems kinds nice so far, but she could be a false snake. Not the type of people Loona should stick with.
Anyway her design is sexy, wild and weird and i love it, but i don't trust her.. Some fans seems to be forgotten where we are in this series. It's hell. There is no "good" by traditional standards.
I doubt they are slaves. She is the embodiment of over indulgence AKA Gluttony. Overindulgence is what makes her honey, and her honey is what is used to make Beelzejuice. She also doesn't like negative vibes, and can apparently taste them- so a party is the way to go rather than forced slavery. Not saying she's 100% nice but she obviously knows that positivity is best for her line of work.

That's my only real issue with this one I loved this episode but it should have been longer
It is slightly shorter than the usual episodes, by about 2 minutes I think, but I don't think it was ever meant to be a full episode of it's own. It was just meant to be a spectacle with the song (originally meant to be sung by Kesha) and a bit of a nod to the music video Viv made for Die Young back in the day.
I think it's better to see it as just a bonus episode that gives Loona a bit of character development and introduce another Prince(ss) of Sin.
I have many issues with this including Bee's design and character so here it is:
1. There's many issues with her design and it's she literally has Lava Lamp aesthetic which doesn't make any sense besides hoarding the item, Asmodeus has traits from the biblical demon so it shouldn't be based on Cerberus at all, her Wings are not Bee ones, they were impossible to make out because of that distracting Floof "Honey" Tail and the Crown, I did not see it at all for a long while and looks nothing like a crown, if I can't distinguish looks or have it click instantly then it's a bad design, I'm supposed to immediately know it's Beezelbub like every other Prince and Princess by first glance.
2. We did not see Blitz doing anything problematic, all we saw is him kissing 1 Demon so she came off as not good and she's too good & a saint, this is a Sin right? I look like I'm looking at some being from Heavan, she treats ALL Lower Class including Imps as equals when they're supposed to be atleast treated wrong IN SOME WAY.
3. The Gluttony Ring was just 100% pure, this is a Ring in Hell so why is it not feeling evil or bad? I don't get it, Viv better not make the rest of Rings welcoming or nice because this won't be HELLuva Boss anymore, it'll be HEAVANuva Boss, Greed and Pride literally showed us it's not supposed to be a good place.
It's Gluttony. Overindulgence. And sure it may not seem like Blitz was doing much, but like she said- Bee can taste the vibesof people at her parties. She implied that positive vibes make her honey, and Blitzo was having negative vibes. He want there to party. He was there to cope in the worst possible way.
Why are you acting like all Imps and Hellhounds have to be treated badly? As the representation of over indulgence, and too much of a good thing, she WOULD be welcoming to most people. Take it like this.
