    Hi Alec,,,Nice job again,,,Looking forward to your Crossbow build soon! Regards, Marty

    Hi again Alec,,,Depending on how smooth it goes with the Crossbow build, it'd be great to somehow complete that 'Unfinished' Crossbow build file that was made a few years ago,,I think it was only about 9 pages long and very incomplete. I may order my boards soon ( and build along with you) but I can't seem to find those Gerber files that I sent to you,,Lol. At least we can call upon George for guidance in building if we have any difficulties because he was the main guy who developed t from the HammerHead. It'd be great to add another 'Complete' build file to the Geotech build file archives!,,Looking forward to the build Alec! Regards, Marty

      Hi Marty,
      I just sent you back the rar file. I hope that it was the right one.

    Hi first of all congratulations for your videos! Years ago I made the same circuit, but then I put it away because it works perfectly in air, but it sounds without target when I put the coil on mineralized ground (not beach). Can I register the trimmers to avoid this problem? Thank you

    • @SurfDetector
      @SurfDetector  Год назад +1

      Hi, Thank you for watching. There is no ground balance on this circuit. It was only designed for use at the beach and even there will react the same way if you encounter black sand.

    hello how are you fine. Can you help me, I have assembled the device, but I have a problem with the sound and a problem with sensitivity. The sound is light and I cannot hear it knowing that I used the mps a13 piece. The sensitivity is not found on the metal. And the frequency is there. I checked it with a Buff loudspeaker. It gives me a ringing when you run away from the file. Thank you

    Hello how are you my friend. Can you help me, I made this device, but I have a problem with sensitivity and a different type of sound, and when I put my finger in the mc14066bcp piece, it gives me a sound without interruption at times, and the distance on a coin does not exceed 5 centimeters, and with changing the files, but the same problem can help

    Hi.
    I saw all your video clips. Nice work.
    I wish you would compare these metal detectors.
    Which was generally better?
    Which was better in terms of sensitivity to gold?
    Which was better in terms of stability ?
    Which one senses more distance?
    I live in Iran and unfortunately, due to the dictatorial regime, it is impossible for us to buy kits from all sites.
    Please include build files if possible.

      Hello, welcome to my channel. Please subscribe.
      Most of my projects have schematics that are available for free on the Geotech Forum website.
      I only do build videos as I wish to help other people to make these projects, I don't do comparison videos, I will leave those for others to do. Thanks for watching.

      The Mini Pulse Plus is very stable and with the proper modifications( covered on the Geotech Forum) can be quite sensitive to gold.

      Hello my friend, unless you have an oscilloscope it is going to be difficult to troubleshoot. I suggest that you go to the Geotech Forum website and post your questions there.

    Surf pi pro was my first metal detector diy. How does your threshold sounds when increase it? It is steady/smooth or clipped? Good job!

    • @SurfDetector
      @SurfDetector  3 года назад

      Threshold is quite smooth when adjusted. The only strange thing is that I have it adjusted to minimum for best performance.

      @@SurfDetectorI use Surf pi pro schematic with gain adjust and the resistor going from threshold pot center tap to IC non inverted input is 47k. I see Surf Pi 1.2 has 22k. Maybe that is the reason of your threshold issue.

      @@dracometaldetectors7091 On the LM358 pin #2 is the Inverting Input which is connected to pin #2 of the pot, this is on the original Whites Surfmaster PI schematic. Interesting that it was modified on the Pro version. I appreciate you watching and commenting. My next build is a Crossbow Classic.
