  • I was pleasantly surprised for the second year in a row by a fireworks display seen via my front window, shot from atop a major ski hill in the Midwest.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. (Funny, I watched Gomer Pyle tonight, too.)

I even enjoyed the noise, blocking out my rather noisy neighbors.

Ah, I love the 777 on your thumbnail. But I preferred the former color that had a tinge of orange in it. Or so it seemed.

@@ianfrancis777 Funny you said that... I think THIS one has too much orange in it. Definitely more orange than the last one. - So I guess there's no way to regulate how each pc or phone shows color.

@@ianfrancis777 OH- BY THE WAY - I have already been rebuked by someone who told me "777" has occultic ties to it, some writing by aliesteir crowley or something.

@@Monorail-Beyond-the-Veil No, I'm sure the previous color had a surefire orange-red, a very unusual red tone. Could you get it back somehow, without eliminating the 777? One idea I have is to change the outline and digits to white or eggshell white. That would allow the fiery red to come thru, as it had previously.
