James is Senior Program Manager on the Viva Engage and Yammer customer engagement team at Microsoft. He has previously helped launch Yammer networks for companies such as Coca-Cola and Kellogg's. Thanks for posting this, it's been helpful to understand Viva Engage and Yammer. My organization has had access to Yammer but no one uses it and I'm trying to get people to adopt and migrate from created communities in "teams channels and chats" and instead creating them in Viva Engage/Yammer. It's like turning a battleship! Oddly, when I've posted in certain groups I've created in yammer, emails have gone out across the organization which seems to be an admin control that has not sorted out. Any idea why and/or how this is happening? the people receiving the emails are NOT active members of the community , in fact many had no idea that the Viva Engage/Yammer existed until they received the broadcasted email from my post.
