the charmander & squirtle one are incorrect. charmander has sharp teeth so naturally if it was an Animatronic it would just have sharp teeth and be withered since thats his style & squirtle would just be a regular funtime animatronic not a specific one
To help cut down on your pencils outstayimg their welcome on your canvas, you can smooth the canvas with a coating or two of gesso. It's easier to erase on and still capable of capturing Acrylic paint even with its smoothness. To make it even smoother, you can give it a light sanding after the application of gesso. Love your work and your skill!!
Some turtles actually do have teeth- you should search up what the inside of a leatherback Turtles mouth looks like. Its creepy- but as an artist im sure you might get some inspo from it as well 👌✨
I won’t say every turtles doesn’t have teeth cause idk but sea turtles don’t have teeth. If u r talking about the teeth like looking things in their mouth/throats they aren’t teeth nor even sharp haha. I’ve touched it before while doing a necropsy on a turtle cause I was curious. I work with sick sea turtles. I mean a bite from them is gonna hurt tho because of their beaks. Edit: Not saying the teeth like things in their mouth r soft/squishy btw cause they aren’t, they r firm; just not sharp like u may think

Funny enough, when Five Nights At Freddy's 4 came out, and considering that I've seen realistic pokemon artwork on DA, I also was thinking, someday, of a Pokemon horror type of trope, whether it was Five Nights At Freddys style, OR a completely different horror franchise or trope (SAW, Hostel, etc.) that would have Pokemon be as realistic or scary as possible in those games or movies.
Team Bulbasaur! (Idk why the one lazy eye made it cuter to me) I would have liked to see the elements for some of them played with a bit more. Like sparks coming off Pikachu's wiring (I didn't think controlled shocks gonna take that one) or Charmander having scorches like he escaped the pizzeria burning. Maybe nightmare forms/evolutions in the future?
I really loved the Charmander animatronic, but i personally think it wouldve been cool to have the animatronic with a tail, and the Charmander fire almost being burnt out?? It still looks amazing though, and all of the other animatronics do too!

The bulb is conveniently the size of a child for no reason in particular. Charmander animatronic: Has a flame at the end of its tail for lighting birthday candles! Parents sometimes wonder why it has to be so strong. Squirtle animatronic: Was designed to put out fires from any rogue birthday candles (or perhaps a Charmander tail malfunction). Constantly leaks. Keep well away from Pikachu, there have been some....incidents.
Every time I see/hear the gen 1 and 2 pokemon now, all I can hear is the Honest Trailers renamed versions. That said, very nice work on Japanese Mickey, The One No One Ever Picked, Oh God My Tail's On Fire, and Squirter. 😆
I know where you're coming from considering I've watched and downloaded ALL of those videos. But The Pikachu Evolution line is still my all time favorite in the world, with the Gen 2, Gen 5 starters, and multitude of other Pokemon evolutions being close second and third place.
Kinda a missed opportunity to do a Ghost Pokémon as it would fit the theme a bit. Also would like to see a PokéBall or a Voltorb look like Mr. Cupcake. Great video nevertheless.

This is such a good video because it also shows the delightful differences in the opaque acrylic paint marker that is Posca, versus the semi-transparent delight of the alcohol-based Copics. (Squirtle Squad go!)

Great drawings as always! My starter is normally the fire type so Charmander would be my go to. I also find it interesting how I was able to identify which type of animatronic most of these are based on. Pikachu: a broken Rockstar Bonnie Bulbasaur: Shattered Monty Charmander: a mix of Foxy, Mr. Hippo, and a toy animatronic. Squirtle: a funtime animatronic.
It's really interesting how your animatronics lean on existing models (Pikachu looks like withered Bonnie if they still had a face, Bulbasaur looks somewhere between ruined Monty and Mr. Hippo, that sort of thing) I think making Charmander more in the style of the nightmares/jakos would have added to that one. I like that squirtle looks somewhere between withered Chica and a funtime animatronic. The funtime look lends itself to a creature that wouldn't have been fluffy to begin with.
IMO your FnF Squirtle was the best. You took more time on it than any of the others and really popped out the detail with the colored pens and pencils at the end.

I know it's just because FNAF are humanoid animal robots, and pokemon starters are in a chibi cute style which conflicts with that, but all of their FNAF forms look like robot dragon hippos 😂
I personally don't find that weird, but it would be cool say, you find a mirror that shows you an alternate form of yourself like the one you mentioned. And also, shapeshifting/transformation is my second favorite ability of all time, with time+dimension travelling being my top favorite.

I found the animatronic Bulbasaur cute, and its shape silhouette fitting its Pokémon the best. Definitely my favorite of the bunch. The unique pose and damage gives that lil guy a lot of personality!

My favorite one was the Bulbasaur not because I like the underdog of the trio (which i most certainly do) but because I liked how it fit on the paper and would look absolutely wicked as a tattoo!! Mad love for all of them!!! I hope I get to see more Pokemon made fnaf because this was outstanding

Bulbasaur was actually by very first Pokémon. Aside from Yellow Version where it saddles you with Pikachu at the beginning. Also the Lavender Town theme in the background was a nice touch.
Squirtal (sorry if misspelled) is my favorite out of the posca drawings. My favorite from the copic drawings are either Pikachu or the damaged Bulbasaur
As a Fnaf fan, it's very clear that you take reference from specific characters or animatronic generations for each of your designs. Pikachu isn't the easiest to pin down, but it's definitely early fnaf. The teeth and half-missing ear remind me of Fnaf3's Springtrap. whilst the stiff posture and jaw attachment style reminds me of Fnaf2's Withereds and Fnaf4's Nightmares. Bulbasaur is inspired by Fnaf Security Breach's Shattered Monty Gator. Hands down. Everything from the teeth, to the pose, to the droopy eyelid. Charmander was an interesting one to guess. The "3 quarter turn" position of the head reminded me of that one teaser image of Withered Freddy prior to Fnaf2. That even matches up with the squared off teeth you sketched, before ultimately going for nightmare teeth. The addition of the circular cheek pieces is interesting too. Such elements have only been seen on hard plastic/metal variants, such as Fnaf2's Toy animatronics, Fnaf Sister Location's Funtime animatronics, and Fnaf6's Rockstar animatronics. Squirtle is a Funtime. Has to be. The cheeks. The separated faceplates. The eyebrows. Between the eyelashes and the insidiously small, sharp teeth, my best guess for inspiration would be Funtime Chica. Honestly this video made for quite a fun guessing game. And your steady hand with both marker types yielded amazing results. Consider me hooked.

Pikachu was like a Toy Bonnie with a minigame-Fredbear build Bulbasaur was like Monty and Mr. Hippo Charmander kind of looks like a nightmare version of Mr. Hippo without the ears Squirtle is definitely some kind of Sister Location animatronic, very reminiscent of Ennard
Looks like you’re adjusting well to your canvas texture! Just wanted to suggest trying to gesso your canvas first, that can help with smoothing the texture if you’re still having issues. Great work Jordan!
Its not that paint markers are bad persay, its just that they come out so rough when compared to the ultra smooth lines and coloring job you get from alcohol markers like copic. Theyre fine if thats what youve got, or if youre going for that painterly style, but in a 1 to 1 comparison paint markers will never be my first choice
Listen I agree with you, I liked those videos too but he should be able to draw what he wants to. If he doesn’t want to draw and narrate creepypasta then he shouldn’t have to.
my guy an artist cant just force themself to draw something they dont really wanna draw if they want it to turn out well also i mean at this point the creepypasta well has likely run dry of ones that arent cringe or just self inserts tbh

Such elements have only been seen on hard plastic/metal variants, such as Fnaf2's Toy animatronics, Fnaf Sister Location's Funtime animatronics, and Fnaf6's Rockstar animatronics.
Squirtle is a Funtime. Has to be. The cheeks. The separated faceplates. The eyebrows. Between the eyelashes and the insidiously small, sharp teeth, my best guess for inspiration would be Funtime Chica.
Honestly this video made for quite a fun guessing game. And your steady hand with both marker types yielded amazing results. Consider me hooked.

Looks like you’re adjusting well to your canvas texture! Just wanted to suggest trying to gesso your canvas first, that can help with smoothing the texture if you’re still having issues. Great work Jordan!
Its not that paint markers are bad persay, its just that they come out so rough when compared to the ultra smooth lines and coloring job you get from alcohol markers like copic. Theyre fine if thats what youve got, or if youre going for that painterly style, but in a 1 to 1 comparison paint markers will never be my first choice

my guy an artist cant just force themself to draw something they dont really wanna draw if they want it to turn out well
also i mean at this point the creepypasta well has likely run dry of ones that arent cringe or just self inserts tbh
