As with each profile, the 3/5 profile is made up of 2 energies: 3, the Martyr and 5, the Heretic. IN this video, we'll dive into both energies and how they work together, one being conscious and the other unconscious. Whether you're a 3/5 profile, you know someone who is, or you don't even know what a profile is, there's something in this video for you.
The words "Martyr Heretic" can carry a lot of intense meaning but don't worry, you're not here to suffer to live your purpose. You're here to find all the holes in systems, communities, society that others are missing.
You're here to "bump into" the world and "make mistakes" ... even though they're not really mistakes at all. They are you finding what no one else can and pointing out the faulty foundations you notice.
And then you're here to universalize a message that you uncover from your experimentation with life. So it's key that you recreate your relationship with what others may call "mistakes". Because without the 3/5s, the world would be building lots of things on faulty foundations.

Great video ❤ my daughter and sister are a 3/5, and I’ve shared it with my sister so she can see her value and stop seeing herself as just an “F” up whose made a lot of mistakes, my son is a 1/3 so raising both my kiddos with 3 lines telling them that mistake really means A mis - take or retake.. just like a director yelling CUT.. retake. It encourages them to get back up and keep trying new things ❤️🌈

I'm a 3/5 Emotional Projector, and definitely have experienced much of what you talked about in this video. I also think there's something important to understand about the making and breaking of bonds energy inherent in the 3rd line of our profile... being willing to almost see those changes in relationship dynamics as related to the trial and error process, instead of as an indicator that something is "wrong" has been very freeing for me. yes! I didn't mention that in this video! Haha, I'm a 2/4 but have 7 planets in Line 3 which my teacher said he'd never seen before in a 2/4. It's been quite a challenging tension for me over the years but getting a handle on it now! So this is one of those beautiful "mistakes". Thanks for bringing it up here. Perhaps another video is in order to talk about just that. It is so important. And thank you for sharing your personal experience with it. Would you like to perhaps be highlighted in the video to talk about your experience with it? I've never done that before yet but it could be interesting!

Very insightful video. I don't make “mistakes”, I make discoveries that others don't see or don't want to be seen. I'm waking up to the energies of my 5th line and waking up so when shit goes down in the 3rd, I don't take on the projections (other people's desires and inadequacies) as my own.
New subscriber! This is the BEST description of the 3/5 profile I've heard. 3/5 Emo Manifestor here. So true. I've felt those projections my whole life, which always felt like pressure to live up to those expectations and a little lonely. I feel a huge sense of responsibility towards others with my energy cause I realize it affects people.
I was fortunate enough to have had parents who let me follow my whims. Taught myself to draw, play the piano, write songs, create whatever I wanted. Questioned EVERYTHING. Got pushed back quite a lot as an adult, but after discovering that it's okay, this is who I am, I'm slowly letting myself get back to myself again.

I appreciate this video a lot! As a 3/5 generator, I have sometimes had the experience of “seeing” people and not in a good way. I start out giving them the benefit of doubt but slowly that gets lost until I “see” them in a negative way and break off or lessen contact. It’s only happened a few times but when it does it’s really strong.

Subscribed! - so I am a 3/5 generator and my wife is a 3/5 manifesting generator. We like plenty of the same things but we are so different. My son is a 6/2 and my daughter is exactly what I am. But my wife being the same is making this all seem strange. I am very excited about learning HD. But I’ve always been into stuff like LOA, astral projecting, astrology, etc. etc. - however, my wife’s not at all. I am changes ideas, jobs, locations, tons of times. I dropped everything and moved to the beach from NY because I saw the movie cocktail by accident and decided I am going to marry a girl while serving drinks at the beach (which is how I met my wife) - on the other hand, my wife chose her occupation at 4-years-old and stuck with it. Now 40. We always joke how she’s the boring one and I’m the adventure. So how are we the same 3/5? It’s driving me nuts because I am all in on this, everything about 3/5 sounds like me, but I can’t stop thinking about how my wife is the same and makes no sense.

In the long-winded comments I recently left on your Incarnation Cross video, I forgot to mention that I am also a 3/5. There has been SO MUCH trial & error surrounding the recurring themes I mentioned about my IC Gates and how they function via multiple undefined Centers in my chart. I wish I had something substantial to add to the information presented in this video, but in this moment, I'm honestly too shocked at how much it all resonates and correlates -- I love that about Human Design!

I live with a partner who also is a 3/5, but she doesn't have this quality at all. Does the same profiles attract each other, or would you say this is a statistical coincidence.
Neither of us has this explicit entrepreneurial trial & error tendency though. I really wonder why. May be it is repressed.
Awesome awareness and self-reflection! That's where the gold is in the Human Design journey. Relationships are theoretically foundationally easier when there's similarities in charts because it gives you something to relate to within each other. I wouldn't say that profiles attract each other necessarily because often people are attracted to opposite energies for the thrill and the mystery, which can often come with the potential for more challenges.
But it all depends on the person's upbringing and life experience. For example, your partner doesn't have the recovering Smart Alec quality, which is most likely because of differing upbringings.
It's good awareness that neither of you resonate with learning through trial and error. Very interesting! Don't take the chart's word for it. But get curious! Some of the questions I'd ask myself if I were you are:
Was I encouraged/celebrated to make mistakes as a child? Or was I made fun of, punished, or yelled at?
What emotions come up when I think about learning through trial and error?
How do I currently learn? Is it learned or natural?

The intention is to enhance the video and not distract from what I'm saying. Which, in your case, clearly isn't working. I thought it would be boring to listen to me for 10 minutes with no music but maybe I just need to get over that. Feedback always appreciated!

Ive heard other HD teachers say its inevitable, our reputation will be damaged, or it's inevitable to be "burned at the stake"--that the only thing we can do is decide what we feel ready to be burned for. It feels very difficult. Can you share your thoughts? How can we ever feel safe, or belonging?

Hey Bonnie! Great question. It sounds like you're doing a great job of sharing your needs in relationship. And he hasn't quite developed the capacity to hear your needs and decide if he can meet them or not, without making you or him wrong about it. Or taking it personally, thinking that you're telling him he's doing something wrong. Or like you said projecting a self-judgement about not being good enough, or some belief system similar to that. Without knowing more of the details, it sounds like it might be a good thing to share with him that it's okay with you if he isn't able to meet your needs and you don't think he's doing anything wrong. And to be clear with him that it is a need of yours. And that it doesn't work for you when he compares his needs to yours, or makes you wrong for having different needs. And that, if it continues, the relationship may not work.... if that feels true for you, of course. I think it's important for you to first get clear within what is a dealbreaker for you. And to stay firm to your fundamental needs. And to do your best to practice communication and calm, compassionate boundaries around his defensiveness. When you can... setting boundaries is a practice and often messy. So gentleness with self is key! But to remind him that you're not available for defensiveness. And to see if he's able to meet you. And if not, to get clear on where your line is.
This may require some inner self-love and self-gentleness practice. I know it did for me in able to be able to hold in this way with others. Hope that helped! Let me know if it resonated or not. And if you have follow up questions.

I’m thinking the defensive behavior is from being afraid to feel
My ex also a 3/5 would display similar behavior sometimes defensive and sometimes not acknowledging feelings
It’s strange but I’m feeling the fear and sometimes anger coming from them
I feel misunderstood but now it feels intentionally projected onto me
Is that a not self pattern of a 3/5
I’m always baffled by this and I no longer feel the need to deal with it or fix it ?

For sure! since recording this, I got a new mic, a carpet to help with sound bouncing, and have shifted some other things in the recording areas. So hopefully new videos will be better. I'll be releasing another one tomorrow so you can let me know!

Hi! It's called Metatron's Cube. There are a lot of different interpretations of its meaning: the patterns/blueprint of creation, balance, etc. It is named after Archangel Metatron. In Gnostic traditions, Metatron was one of only 2 Archangels who supposedly were human at one point. In the stories, he was Enoch before ascending to be Metatron.
For me, Metatron and the cube represents non-linear time and multi-dimensional space.
