I am a member of Christ Embassy, and I will forever give , because I know I will never be small and nobody has forced me to do so but the word , it is working for me perfectly ❤️, my life has changed for better , we talk and do the word. I can truly identify with brother Nico, l was also saved in a cult, but l was sincerely searching for the truth. God miraculously sent a stranger in my life. We met at a bus stop,he asked me questions about my faith and where l go to church. He took my contacts and true to his word,this stranger accompanied me on Sunday to the church. The pastor called me to his office before the service and asked about the stranger l brought to church. I told him he was my visitor. As the service began, my visitor started praying in tongues, it was soo intense he was literally sweating. The pastor came in the hall and was unable to speak. That's when l realized the enemy is no match to Jesus. The pastor was chocking as he tried to speak and he couldn't. It was an overwhelming experience for everyone, confusion and fear. My visitor soaked in sweat, opened his eyes ,held my hand and instructed me we get out of here. That's how God removed me from a cult.
Honestly
Pastor Chris is a rare gift to the body of Christ. He stood up for the world during the covid era when everyone was scared to death. He is not perfect and some of the teachings may not be agreeable to everyone. Pastor Chris has the Word and that's the most important thing. Why don't you remain there and be a shining example for others. I am a member but nobody can force me to give. If some people in the church are sinning, you must not join them. Be you.

This is the most genuine testimony and exposition of what actually takes place in most so called mega churches. Indeed any gospel that fails to emphasise holiness and , righteousness is not the gospel of Christ. Grace is not a licence to sin. Grace empowers us to live above sin. A lot of us church goers know the truth but because we are comfortable with the false teachings we don’t see anything wrong in it. I thank this speaker so much for sharing his experience. This brother, you need Holy Spirit to teach you, and not man. You should have asked the Holy Spirit to help you understand the real gospel of grace. You can still ask Him, I mean Holy Spirit, it's not late, if you are still in the faith. If you have left the faith, find a way to come back, because you do not have any case, at all.
Those you think are commiting sins, I see it as NOT YOUR DUTY TO DICTECT WHO IS OR WHO IS NOT COMMITTING SIN, you should concentrate on Christ you to Church to worship, and leave God to consider that Himself.
For what you call sin, may not be sin in God's eyes. You mind is still small to understand the word of the gospel of grace.
Jesus called us to preach the gospel and NOT sin. The time you use in preaching sin, you use it to preach Christ, Righteousness and life. You ought to be conscious of Christ, what He accomplished on the cross for us, rather than the devil and what he's doing now. Two, be conscious of Righteousness which God has given every believer as a gift, rather than sin which God said He will remember no more-Hebrews 8 v 12.. Be conscious of the abundance of life Christ came and gave us, rather than death that He has abolished-2 Timothy 1 v 9-10.
The problem was you and not the Christ Embassy Church. Read your Bible, calling on the Holy Spirit to teach you ALL things, to guide you into ALL truth-John 14 v 26; 16 v 13.
You are still under the law and could earn yourself curse- Galatians 3 v 10 .
Note: I am not a member of Christ Embassy Church, but as a Christian, who is being taught by the Holy Spirit, I believe you are very wrong in all your complaints
If you are not convinced to give for any thing in the Church, I think anybody will penalise you if you do not give.

1. Do you masturbate?
2. Have you ever committed fornication (or adultery, if you are married)?
3. Do you lust after some of the sisters in your C.E church once in a while,(if you are a brother)?
4. Have you been lying, or exaggerating about cell report (if you are a cell leader, or cell executive)?
5. Have you been comfortable cheating with money or lying, or deceiving people in your office, or at home, or at school?
6. Do you watch secular movies and/ or listen to secular music comfortably?
If you have yes as an answer to one or more of these questions above, then you are in danger before Jesus on judgment day, believe me.
Get out of that place while you still can.

He is correct, i also left due to a lot of these things. You are manipulated to give, i was an usher in the church for years. Everything is about pastor Chris, his picture everywhere, i was told because i am not faithful in my tithe the pastor will not accept me married if someone ask for his permission.
A lot to talk about, but i had to leave, whatever pastor Chris says goes. Everything is money, you are forced to join haven group to give money to church. I was persuaded so many times to join i refused, i had to leave. It just a lot.
When they were being investigated by the UK government, we were ask to change the normal envelopes we were using, as an usher i was concerned. So when i ask my head usher i was told because we don't want the government to know homuch is collected for tithes and offering by the UK government. It is just a lot to talj about, my spirit was not at rest after prayers upon prayers the holy spirit ask me to leave.
The miss intepretafion of the Bible wad just tok much but because it was coming from pastor you dare nif question it, we were told when tbe holy spirit tild you something and pastor said something else you go with pastor because he knows better, i couldn't take it anymore and i left.
It is a lot, i couldn't narrate it all. When pastor Chris was not friends with Benny Hinn a church member shared a video of if Benny Hinn on our what's group our pastor order her to remove it and he was very upset and said we don't share such here. Immediately they became friends it was automatically fine for us to share post of pastor Benny, to me that is hypocritical.
That's just a few of the issues
We were told in church if our family or father needs money and the same time the church that is pastor needs money, you give to church first before your father because the church is your first family. This is wrong, because our family comes first before the church.

Pastor Christ is a true man of God.
Rapsody of reality is a wonderful book.
It teaches you about your spiritual composition and equips you with knowledge that enables you live the supernatural life.
The only problem is the way they make people give endlessly.
All other churches has their pros and cons that may be condole but what is unacceptable is false prophets and Churches.

Any church that is not interested in teaching holiness isn't a good church. Jesus taught repentance from sin, John the Baptist and all the apostles preached repentance of sin then why would any pastor preach otherwise ?
If a Senior Pastor of a church says that masturbation isn't a sin then the church is not a good church. Run for your life!
The church was one of the churches in the 90’s that taught “it doesn't matter messages”
Many young people left bible believing churches in the 90’s because they present the Bible to look as if once you are saved you will remain saved forever even if you continue to sin.

The testimony of this our brother is what is referred to as "predestination" in the Bible (Romans 8:30). This was responsible for how he saw things differently from many other church members, despite the fact that he was a babe in Christ, who knew not much about the scriptures. It is the grace of God, just as our brother acknowledges and returns all the glory to God.
The same teachings he received together with other members of Christ Embassy but 'something' in him made him disagree with those ones that are unhealthy to godliness. I thank God for giving our brother such a testimony of salvation and I pray God helps others to also acknowledge the error and seek the truth in Christ Jesus.

We don’t realise that Jesus went about preaching repentance. But today we pamper our sin, consoling ourselves not to be perfect. Instead of us to cry out to God to help us overcome the sin we are battling with. A contrite heart God is ready to give the grace

Why do you still battle with sin even now, don't you know what Jesus died for , wasn't it to save you from every sin that you did and didn't commit ? But in reference to the video, I said said people pamper sin and to those who are battling with Sin in the flesh, should cry out to God for help because he has it rather than saying it is ok because we are humans.
Now I suppose you understand that Christ has died for us, paid our debts and made us clean. But do you also understand that we are called to submit to God and resist the devil ? Or rather can you recall that we have been predestined to be conform to the image of Christ ? Or didn’t the scripture admonish those that have been saved to walk in the spirit ? ( Galatians 5). Now walking in the spirit is your response to God and not a matter of been saved. It’s is clear that if you walk in the Spirit, you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh ( simply put Sin, and this is a conscious response desired of God). Aren’t you told to work out your salvation ? Jesus did say, they that worship God must worship him in spirit and in truth .. how can you worship him in spirit if you aren’t led by the spirit, if you don’t submit to God. Again it is not about been saved, it is about worship.
Haven’t you read 1 John 5:18 ? We know that whosever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Don’t you read in 1 John 3:22 - And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. What about the admonishing of not been conformed to the world but to renew the mind ?

My dear, people will always be people whether in church or outside church. It was Jesus' disciple who betrayed him. Wasn't He aware? even before it happened but it didn't stop his mission. Shift your focus and you will be at peace. That's what I did too.

My dear brothers, Christianity is firstly about love. Love for the lost and love for one another. And we do not love with our own love, but with that which Christ gave us. As Christians, we must love one another irrespective of denomination and pray in line with the Word for one another. I feel this brother's hurt and disappointment and my heart goes out to him. I feel so disappointed that his questions wrre not appropriately answered and in love, by even the leaders in the Church. You can tell how zealous he is for God. But the Bible says, there can be zeal without understanding, even as the brother has acknowledged that his knowledge of scripture was limited. Pastor Chris is an amazing teacher of the Scriptures and I love him because he helps us to understand the Scriptures by the Holy Spirit. Whichever Church we go to, if they profess Christ they are a part of the Body of Christ. And the Body of Christ is made up of people who are at different levels in the faith. We all are being guided by the Holy Spirit and we can put our trust in the Holy Spirit who Himself orchestrates our salvation. We are all growing and we must always understand that the journey is by grace, ongoing faith and the power of the Holy Spirit. We will only be able to live this Christian life to the degree by which we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit and understand the Scriptures. When we grow up in the Scripture, there are things that we will naturally stop doing and arguments that we will stop having. The struggle will stop. But this growth is a process. Sometimes, we fall but we can depend on the finished work of Christ, not ours and the ongoing power and love of the Holy Spirit. I love and pray for you both, that the ministry of the Holy Spirit in you be increased and that every soul who is not saved hearing this may be caused to be saved, in Jesus Name. I have so much respect for this brother. God bless you. Your position in church will not open the gate of heaven for you. Heaven gate is not operated by Nigerians or any human but the Almighty God. You are perfectly correct, I have always asked myself whenever I am being given prophecies based on blessings, prosperity, etc and there is not a single word of rebuke from my maker God, it gets me worried sometimes and I ask the Holy Spirit to please search me and see if there is any iniquity in me. For He alone can perceive my thoughts from afar. The very first time I saw Pastor Chris on TV here in the UK, my spirit refused to align with his messages, please don’t get me wrong, he is good at what he dose as a teacher of the word but I am sorry to say that the true WORD of God is being compromised the Truth about God is diluted perhaps to suit his congregations who do not study the word for themselves. If God Almighty says that He honours His word above His Holy majestical and glorious name, why then should I honour the word of a mortal man who is here today and is gone tomorrow. All you can see is PRIDE, PRIDE, PRIDE and worldliness. The thought of missing heaven after our earthly struggles is very frightening. May we not miss heaven in Christ Jesus’s name I pray amen. Not sure how others understand Pastor Chris messages, but from my personal understanding after years of listening to him, that man teaches you to personally draw yourself closer to God. He teaches to encourage personal study of the Word which he of course teaches in simplicity,, check for example the Rhapsody of Realities book, that book is not a stand alone book, but a book which directs you into understanding more of the Bible,, so I can conclude by saying Pastor Chris is the man send by God, and is fulfilling his mandate, results are evident....
It's a pity this guy went in seeking the seeming wrong things. He never really listened to understand pastors teaching..
I traveled to a place and the only Church around was Christ Embassy. I was shocked at the dressing of the sisters and the atmosphere. I was uncomfortable throughout. Pastor Chris was mentioned in every other thing being said. This was in 1999. I went to another town and decided to attain Chris Embassy because it was so close to where I stayed.i was in a service for 30mins before I left.all this while a smart looking proud man talking exactly like pastor said stuff like "you can't call yourself a believer when you can't be like pastor Chris,talk like pastor act like him.i was like did pastor Chris died for me? The highest shocker came when he said as a member of Chris Embassy one wasn't supposed to listen to any other pastor or make friends with others from other churches....

I was with Chist embasy once, for about 3yrs. The preaching is good there, i felt like i was in heaven listening to word.

Pastor Chris birthday a church was given a budget to give, in my church branch it was R7M.
Story short, i realised this church is mainly money sucking institution.
I thank the church for the short time i was there, but i choose Jesus instead.

I recently left CE. Honestly speaking i like Pst Chris i have a problem with everything being based on what he believes in the name of Jesus Christ. I stayed a while but my Spirit became grieved and also the repentance issue that the gentleman touched it seems CE believes in righteousness even if you sin the gift of righteousness gives you a reason not to repent from sin, i had a quarrel with my cell leader regarding this is scripture misconception and many lives in sin . I am not sure if they understand holiness.God says be holy because He is holy . I will rather remain in Christ than to be in a congregation that drives me away from true salvation. We have a local branch of CE here in our township. They tell me they are given a target every Sunday of R15000. We live in a poor community. Any offering of R1000 is a miracle. The tongues that were spoken by yhe apostles were real languages(tongues) that were used to spread the gospel to all the nations lf the world and that helped to edify the churches(people of God) in those various nations. Getting saved, accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour is salvation and your name also needs to be written in the lambs book of life. Your name can also be blotted out of the lambs book of life ie losing your salvation. So the once saved always saved doctrine is a lie from the pit of hell.
These things are happing in most of the MEGA churches. Thank the Almighty God, I came to the same realisation and quit!!!

The best you could have done, is to prayerfully search for a very good Bible believing Church with the genuineness of your of heart, asking Our Lord Jesus Christ for Mercy and forgiveness and The Divine HolySpirit for Directions into a Real Church of God Almighty where Holines & Sincere words of God Almighty (sound Doctrine) is Preached with Heaven- in -view .
Then you happily join them instead of quiting Church completely....

The problem I find here is the confusion between the law and grace. We have the power to live above the law. Most people try to live right up to the standard of the law, but no, we are children of God. We can live better. Taking a born again back to the law is killing a living man.

For me i thank God for the spirit of descernment because i can easily know false teachings and as well true teachings and truth be told i can easily identify it in my spirit and also, the Holy Spirit can confirm to me. Thank you Jesus for your presence in my life and also thank you for giving me your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth and indeed you have stated in your Word that You Yourself will teach us because Your Holy Spirit teaches us everything and He leads us always.
