Thanks Coach! To add a sort of 5th: I've learned also it's important to recognize the situation and how it makes you feel. Try observing the feeling without spiraling into it and getting into rumination. I don't know if you've addressed meditation in more detail but I've found it's often described poorly in the mainstream. It's not necessarily about relaxing, it's mostly about training your own mind to observe itself and give you more control over it, and also practice being present and not lost in the past or future (which is difficult). I've gotten pretty good at your first tip (accept what I can't control) when it comes to medical stuff at least, if I get hospitalized and heading in to get a painful procedure I don't really dwell or fear, i just think "alright, this is gonna suck" then take a breath and go with it.
That's a great 5th tip! And I agree completely about meditation. I don't have any videos on meditation myself, (frankly, I don't consider myself enough of an expert on the topic to address it in detail), but I like your description of observing your own mind. It also sounds like you have just the right attitude when it comes to your medical situation. It's so easy to stress over what we can't control, but accepting it makes it so much easier and allows us to focus on what we can control.
Thanks Coach!

Great advice as always.
