I have only known about The Warning for a month, and have learned a lot already. But would super highly recommend you check out 'The Warning - Mayday in the Making', in *multiple parts as a short documentary/interview, leading up to the release of their last album. Very concise and interesting.
Pau is physically well-conditioned. She has worked on being able to sing and play drums at the same time for just about as long as she has been performing. She will actually sing while she is running on a treadmill. BTW, Pau doesn't like being elevated that much on the stage. She likes being able to interact with her sisters at the same level. If you will notice, Ale and Pau give one another looks and even talk to one another during certain songs. Despite having a click track, Pau uses line of sight with Ale to keep on time during the song.
Did you guys notice the guitar choreography between Dany and Ale during Survive? They do a synchronized guitar swing twice during the song. Pau and Ale do a choreographed head bob during Survive as well. Pau hated being extra high on the drum riser because she felt was too far above her sisters.
It is inspiring listening to you praise the Warning and their talent. You mentioned that it reminds you of the rock of the 1990s and 2000s that you grew up with. I grew up with the rock of the '60s and '70s, classic rock, and although I liked some of it, I was not a fan of hard rock or metal, and never was. I was introduced to the warning about 3 years ago in a live stream, and at first I didn't really pay attention because I didn't think I would like that music. But over a period of a few months as I continued to listen, it became apparent to me what a gifted family of girls this is! Instrumentals, vocals, integration, composition, energy and passion, and stage presence. After getting to know of them and their background through documentaries, my feelings evolved quickly, no pun intended. Sometimes when you understand the people involved, The more you appreciate what they bring to the table. The warning are now my favorite band, even a step above some that I listened to years ago. I had been warned but I never pictured myself having to warn others! Great job as always guys.
I went to your playlist and see you have not reacted to TEDx Talk 2017@ University of Nevada. It is a Talk/3 song concert that introduced many us fans to this band. You should react to it. The girls were 17, 15, and 12yrs old. You will completely fall in love with them.
Great reaction! I'm a new subscriber to see more TW reactions. I heard my first The Warning song last month and I've been binging them since. During that first listen, the people who popped into my head were the Wilson sisters from Heart. Ann Wilson is my favorite rock vocalist and Dany has the same fullness and power in her vocals. Keep the reactions coming. I watched the entire Teatro Metropolitan concert and its fabulous! I still need to watch the live performance of the entire Queen of the Murder Scene album.

Greeting from Denmark. New subscriber her after I have followed your reaction to TW for a while. 23 is Pau and her abilitly to convey emotion through her voice. Now, try to remove Ale's bass and /or harmonies from any of the songs and think about how flat the experience might be!? Ale is often overseen, but she is the glue, the time keeper, the shoulder her sisters cry on, and so much more. Not to take anything away from Dany and Pau. This is a trio, based on sibling magic and none of them could be replaced.
*23 Fun Facts:* 23 was written in 2019 by Pau. Song is about turning 21 (Pau liked 23 instead of 21 but legal drinking age in Mexico is 18). The video is from the Aug 26 performance but the audio was from the Aug 29 performance. During 23 on Aug 29. Ale's bass teacher & the bands mentor Pablo Gonzalez (known bass player in Latin music) stood next to his pupil playing bass (with Ale) on 23. So, of course, eyes was on Pablo & Ale. Glad you're doing & like The Warning. No need to rush. Since you can play one Warning video a day for the next two years. You wouldn't play the same video at all. Of course, there was a story about them being at a restaurant and Ale being asked what she wanted to drink but not Pau. Maybe true, maybe not but seeing them together if one didn't know it would be easy to assume Ale is the older of the two.
Someone in the comment in this song said that 23 can also be 2023 this year... when Pau wrote this song 'Fast forward to 23' it means that 'barely' old enough to drink to every country drinking age or maybe the world?? i dont know.. just saying :)

Dany was 19. And Ale was just 14 when they wrote the songs for *Error.* They had a Kickstarter Campaign in 2019 to fund studio time *(for Error)* & for their 2020 North American Tour. Had tickets for 4 shows. One in Chicago & 3 in Texas (Dallas, Houston, San Antonio). Tour was canceled twice. Then they signed with Lava Records (5 album deal & *Error* was the first of five). My reward for Kickstarter Campaign was a Tour Photobook (none made) & a physical CD of Error. I recieved a signed vinyl album instead. Love it, love it, love it.

When I first found DPA I was overwhelmed by one feeling...JOY. In fact, it was this song and the TedX performance years ago that hooked me. It isn't just that they bring JOY, it's that they exude JOY. Look at their faces. Years after they first performed this song and they still LOVE playing it. They're smiling. They're jamming. You just don't want it to end because it is just pure JOY. They light up the darkest room, the darkest mood, the moments when you feel despair or disconnected. Just put on one of their songs and they'll pull you right out of it. You can't watch them and not feel joy.

Survive is yet another song of TW that has risen to new heights. It was very good already when it was released on XXI´st Century Blood, but like many songs it has grown with The Warning! The jam session at the end of the song is a climax moment, where they let loose and go for it. Dany was already head banging at the Ted Talk in 2017, now she gets in the groove and is like the professional she has become, they all are. This is a fun song where the energy of the group really shows. I like it as much now as I did then. And your reaction is also great as usual.

Notice how this time Dany stays still cool to let Pau shine but the stage is not boring, Ale is doing some toned-down actions. It seems they think of every detail. Planned or natural, it speaks volumes about their quality as performers.
When they use their more typical low drum riser, Dany and Ale sit on it during the opening to give Pau the entire spotlight. If there's no riser, or a tall one like this, obviously they can't do that, but they still stay out of the way. Dany's smirking and nodding here seemingly to egg on the crowd. Pau in particular enjoys hearing the crowd sing along. You'll notice she removed one of her in-ear monitors during the intro to better hear that.
The one arm to her side or back.is just her resting her left arm. It gets fatigued so she hangs it down to keep the blood flowing to.her hand. But yeah, A secret weapon for sure.
