ok, so I did not follow anything you said BUT I guess by just listening to this video my brain turned on! I updated a plug-in and everything works fine now. Also, it must have been European accent that helped as I had so many friends with the same accent in my computer classes.

It looks like you have two .htaccess files. You can search the directories to see if you can find it. Wordpress searches atomatically for files it needs. If it doesn't find it the system jumps to the next directory. See also my other video. Hope this helps. ruclips.net/video/BW0IpDvuvdM/видео.html
Hi Friend, translate. Hay archivos en tu public_html, en donde tienes tu web, ahí hay archivos que no van normalmente, debes borrar, como viene por defecto wordpress, asi te va funcionar.

What kind of error do you see? It could be anything. Maybe a PHP or maybe the name of the document is typed wrong. (.htaccess)
