      They are awesome ramps. You get the 5 step or the 6 step ramp?

      @leroyjohnson3725 4 года назад

      I got the 5 step, a little steep, but with the steps makes loading my 2016 Husqvarna FE350S super easy.

    Everything you mentioned in the preload, I've done.. At 71 years, I bought one as soon as they came out. It's like a steering dampener in the desert. It's medical insurance!

      Hahah. It’s just not worth it any more. I don’t need more things trying to kill me. Thanks for the share!!

    I used to compress the forks on my RMX250 and load in the back of my Ford Aerostar before I bought a Ranger pickup. I just used a 2x8 board with ramp ends to load my bike. It definitely helped that it was fairly low to the ground just had one high step and it was in the back of the truck.

      Haha yeah I would be lying if I said I never used a board to get the bike in the truck. I just don’t recommend it! Thanks for the story.

    It would be nice if the steps were removable and could be easily swapped to the right side for loading a bike right up the left side of the bed if there is no space on the right. With my setup, I would need steps on the left to load the bike on the right, and swap steps to the right to load left bike. There is no space in the middle for the bike due to a drawer system.

    you guys still loving the 6 step ramp? I'm torn between 5 or 6 steps for my f250 6.5' bed.

    • @BackcountryLife
      @BackcountryLife  2 года назад +1

      Yes, but I think next time I will get the 5 step ramp the 6 is a bit long even for my 6.5ft bed. If your truck is lifted then stick with the 6

    I use aluminum ramps that are strong enough to load a vehicle. Great ramps.

    I would like to see this versus the rev arc step system. I’m contemplating between this one or the rev arc system. I have a Silverado with a 6in lift so it’s a pain for me

    • @BackcountryLife

      I personally like the Step Ramp better as its just one unit and not 2 different pieces

    Nice idea..I don't recommend riding up any ramp..One guy I know rode up a ramp too fast and hit the back of the truck and flew off the bike. He ended up in the emergency room with a broken hand.

      dang...I watched my brother ride up his ramp and then wheelie his bike into the back window of his truck.
