Glad I found your channel as I think you may have the answer. I'm 55, going through menopause and have those wonderful hot flashes however, I also have very cold flashes many times a day and recently I read something about at home bronzers can cause different issues but was wondering if you would know anything about that? I've used at home bronzer's since my 30's but over the past 3-4 years, I've noticed my body becoming hot but my skin is freezing and I'm wondering if the at home bronzers are causing that. I would appreciate any and all information. Thanks so much!! ❤
I loved your content and am interested in having to take the Science training. I was wondering once the training is completed do we get a certified stated we completed it and is there an option to return to view for refreshers. You did email me the price too.
You are wrong. Very wrong. The undertone base makes bugger all difference as soon as you’ve had your first rinse. If it penetrated the skin, which it doesn’t, then it would affect the final outcome. As soon as you shower, the counteraction that you initially achieved, is washed down the drain, fact! I've been tanning for 30 years. Being a cosmetic tattooist as well as a hairdresser, in these 2 instances the undertone base is vitally important. The reason being, they penetrate, not coat.
I will respond respectfully, solution base effects the bronzer in solution, that bronzer will stain the skin for up to 3-5 days, depending on the pigmentation and ingredients from the solution, because we ask clients not to scrub or exfoliate for the duration of the tan. If you are able to use just one bronzer on your clients, that's great, and i say this often, EVERY technician will have a different demographic of clients that will require different solution, thats why understanding science is so important. I teach and train based on my research and experience with clients. Respectfully.
I've been using Sjolie solution for 12 years and never bought the violet base for the same reason I don't use the other additives. The hydration, shimmer, scent, cbd all rinse off and are a waste of money. Moisturizer's wash off, bronzers wash off, scent washes off. The cosmetic industry is all about creating new products to best their competitors and sell to more clients. I'm a makeup artist *18 years) and the marketing of the 'new and improved" products is the name of the marketing game. The regular sjolie solution works great for every skin tone (in my 12 years of experience) Yes, the bronzer may stay for a few washes, but it doesn't stay on evenly (it grabs skin differently) and the chemical reaction of the DHA is what does the heavy lifting. I would be curious to see the results of a side by side comparison. Use one solution on one leg and the different base on the other. See how it rinses off day after day.
Excellent content
Thank u I wanted to know more about the brown bases if they give a more Beached Caribbean look rich brown more the orange
