Love the video, you have great enthusiasm and explain the game in a fun and clear way. I also love that your cat is bringing an extra layer of homeliness/cozyness.
Of course I love Rado and Rodney, but I got to say this is hands down my favorite new "boardgame-explainer". Brillant video. Pace, production, clarity, passion. Just awesome thank you.
I agree, Rahdo and Rodney are amazing at what they do. Thank you so much for your comment and support, I'm so happy you enjoy the way I explain the games.
Wow; great tutorial! Everything is first class-production, presentation, great balance of depth and breadth. Loved the strategy tips to provide a little guidance for getting started. Fantastic job!
6:58 Is that true that's canal needs to be connected to coal to lay it? I didn't see that in the rules, just that it needs to extend your network For rail era it does mention this rule, which makes sense because you need to consume coal for the action
Technically when she stated this, she did show a rail. But she never called it out. Seconds beforehand she was showing canals 🤔 I'll assume only need coal connection for rails since canals don't consume coal
Hello! I should have been clearer that it is for the rail era only that it needs to connect to coal as it is needed to build it. Canal era only needs money so no coal necessary. I will pin a comment, thank you.
Overall positive energy you are emanating, sheer simplicity how these rather complicated rules are presented is astonishing. Each and every of your videos is super usefull. Thank you so much for your work.
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I'll wait for a possible spanish version to share with my play group. I had this game on sight but now its a sure buying. Best regards from Mexico.
I have to say this video its absolutly amazing how it clarify what i couldnt understand on the rulebook. Thanks for making this videos and hope this channel goes up. Also nice touch with spaniah version,🎉
Totally appreciate your tutorials. Simply one of the best boardgame gurus out here, and Peter is a big bonus! I'm thinking of owning a cat aside from the boardgames you've covered. Muchas gracias!
Two questions after playing a few games and watching your video: 1. Can I always choose to buy iron from the bank instead of using one from my opponent (to not help him)? 2. Overbuilding: Do I loose victory points when overbuilding a flipped industry tile and not managing to flipp the new one? VP of flipped tiles are only counted at the end of an era, that’s why I ask. The brewery visible at 13:37 is invalid, you can’t build there without a link to it. ;)
Hello Sascha, thank you for your comment. I hope can clarify below some your questions: 1 - The short answer is no. The board needs to be depleted before you go to the iron market. If there are ironworks on the board with iron on them, you need to use those first. 2 - Yes, you will lose the points. On minute 13:37 the brewery is valid because it's a level 2 and it may have been built in the canal era. All level 2 or greater industry tiles remain on the board for the rail era. :) Enjoy the game!
Such a great video, I wish I saw it earlier, it's much better than some of the videos that try to explain the rules and have many more views. Keep up the good work!
If you don’t have any industry tickets on the board, meaning you can put down a card/ticket that requires coal but your obviously not connected. Do you still have to buy the coal from the market?
Sorry for the delay. For any tile that you place that requires coal, you have to be connected to coal, either the market (which means you have to have a connection to it) or a coal mine. I hope this helps.
@@GamesMadeEasy OK thanks, for some reason I thought the first tile you put down didn't need to be connect unless thats Lancashire. Either way thank you.
You are really a good teacher. Thanks. One question Do i have to build in order buildinge. First, level 1, 2,3... Or can i build level 3 before 2 or 1 onto a space Can i overbuild my level 4 building onto level 1 building
Thank you! You need to do them in order; alternatively you can develop to access higher level buildings. You may overbuild one of your own with a higher level of the same type building, it can be as you say level 4. I hope this helps, enjoy the game :)

The sleeves seem to fit well! What brand are they?
They do :), I use mainly MayDay and Gamegenic and I go to this site to get the right size: www.sleeveyourgames.com/

Hello, thanks for your video. I have a question, at the end of the Canal Era, what happens of I have a coal mine, level II, that still has coal on it?
Hi Jorge, it stays there for the rail era.
Love your videos!
Thank you so much 😊
Nice video! Thank you a lot. It helps :)
I’m so glad it helped, enjoy the game, it’s wonderful.
You can’t put a cat on screen and expect me to pay attention 😂
Haha, I know! But he loves it so much, Peter is there as soon as I start setting up and ready to be filmed 😂
Nope. Still don't understand.
Sorry to hear that.
