The snake so early is far harder then most of the next 5 or 6 bosses after it on this list imo . especially the human bosses after him on the list . tokechiro was my easiest boss just rushed him and it was over in less then a minute .
I couldn't agree more. The snake is tough - especially as you are so stamina-restricted that early on when he invokes the dark realm. I'm about half way through and for me he is the hardest boss so far.
in case anyone doesn't know this you can completely avoid the revenant spawning in the rematch with Magara by killing it in the dark realm across from the boss room first.
Yatsu no kami so low? Took me 2-3 hours to beat the boss and first few days reddit nioh board was flkuded with requests to help with him. Requests still pop up occasionally still.
Considering all of the footage isn't theirs, I'm not sure they actually played through the game as is. They probably used co-op or something to think snake twat is easy
As someone who completed this boss in the new Dream of the Nioh difficulty, I agree with the fact that Yatsu is low but for first playthroughs where your just using what you can he deserves at least 10 ranks higher
21:20 Magara (2nd fight) He's in the same spot like in the main mission If you don't go in there and look up the hill, you will see an Amrita crystal, if you destroy it, the batzle against him will be like the 1st one Saika You want to burst counter his moves Why? If you do it sucessfully, his Ki regen will be slowed which helped me a lot If you hit him while he's in the air he will fall down and you can perform a critical attack on him
This list is horrible.... the snake is a literal skill check. People get stuck on him for 100+ deaths and you have them like 10 places below the Obsidian samurai who people farm for 48k exp per kill which takes about 15 seconds.... this seems like a list made by someone who used the summons on every boss then struggled when you couldn't summon...

Its like DS3 is the hardest for me that almost the entirety of bloodbourne bosses were one shot, and even sekiro no match. Nioh one was also the same as bloodbourne. Nioh 2 however feels 10x the difficulty with normal enemies.
Tatarimokke was by FAR the hardest boss for me on NG run. Like honestly, it took me trice more runs to kill it then last boss. Also putting Lady Osakabe around top 10 is kinda joke. This boss is even worse then Orochi in first game, imo.
Lady Osakabe. Castle lady? Yes this one gave me a lot of trouble I had to resolve to running and using spirit stones to fill my meter and use yokai form.
A lot of people have Lady Osakabe really low/ easy tier on their lists for me she was tough even as a ninja build using kusarigama my weapon wouldn’t really reach the heads so I had to use ninja tools which helps but that boss was annoying for me bc I couldn’t hit it ever...also the snake boss owl boss and katsuie are really tough
@@sfcSpidey I finished nioh w kusa. You just need to use the skill that cuts everything (L1+triangle) in each head to stagger it and defeat. You keep doing the attack even if you get hit by the elementals but if the head try to smack you, do the counter (L2+circle) and you'll kill it too. Got her in the first try
Final boss went down first try for me. The game really does depend on your build and play style for difficulty. Damn snake boss killed me the most haha.
Lot depends on your stats and gear. I was overleveled for the final boss and had the same result but I could still tell the move-set and aggression was much harder than most of the earlier ones
Truth. Game was generous with levels for sure. As long as you didn't die twice and lose it all. Never really felt under level. My gear felt it a bunch though haha. I had more trouble with mister red eyes than with mr. Super yokai. Games like these are good for that though. Bosses are different for nearly everyone.

I don't think you needed to include all the generic human bosses at the beginning. And yeah, this list is clearly whack when the first non human boss on the list is easily one of the hardest in the game
i had the most difficulties with yatsu no kami, couldn't beat him with phantom...i used the hot spring and dropped down to get some heal during the fight. (didn't used the cursed shrine) magara naotaka was also difficult for me and i had to summon help. Kasha was als a bit difficult, but i think it was the fourth try today. Her laugh was sooo annoying xD
I dont know why.. but i died over 10 times to the bosses considered easy by many (azai nagamasa, and the big Spider Bull) But my jaw dropped as I killed Otakemaru first try :)
I feel like none of the bosses in Nioh 2 challenged me as much as in Nioh 1 (that could possibly be just me getting used to the mechanics of course) but I never encountered any walls quite like Hino Enma or Tachibana
In the Brother's Blade side mission you can just walk up past the two yoki dudes after you go up the ladder and break the crystal and then the revenant wont spawn lol
Everyone seems to have their own versions of difficult bosses. I can't remember the name of the haunted House boss. But stationary bosses are easy. Mobile Bosses are always the hardest for me to deal with. So my hardest Boss is Gyuki.
Alot of these bosses i fought in completely different areas like koroku i fought him on a bridge and the spear guy i fought him in a house and the ninja guy the head of the iga clan or whatever is called you fight in the dojo missions he wasnt using tonfa or spear he was using a katana and spammed poison, shurikens, clatrops, paralysis, status ailment shells that decrease ur movement speed and the blinding shell, as well as a bunch of bombs he was super damn annoying plus he did the attack up pills and hits like a truck
It’s crazy how people got stuck for hours on these bosses. I feel like this game is way easier than the last one. Last boss fight is probably the most difficult but even then it’s not that hard.
For real I was thinking how I didn't encounter any sort of boss wall like I did in Nioh 1, I got damn stuck on Hino Enma and Tachibana whereas bosses in Nioh 2 I beat after 2/3 tries at most, no shame in admitting Hino Enma and Tachibana both handed me my ass for hours lol
I disagree with some,but not all. Magara seems to give people trouble. The big ice odachi guy. The most tries for me was Azai,the guy with the wings. Honda gave me issues with my build. I think Ryomen was most frustrating though...the one that's fire and ice...he attacks relentlessly,causing all sorts of status effects. Easiest by far, besides the first few,imo,is the owl. Doesn't do much damage or have many attacks. Same with the chariot one. I don't think I've had to try more than 3 or 4 times on any boss so far. Which I feel is just about right for a veteran of this kind of game. Some I got first try because they were too easy or in the betas.
Shibata katsuie is easily the hardest boss in the game... I think it’s because his grab attack is so fuckin fast and he has a good range he can grab you, not to mention its virtually a 1 hit kill.... his grab is so fast I got caught a couple times even when he was slowed by the sloth talisman... he’s also the fastest boss in the game to me, and all of his attacks do massive damage
gozuki and mezuki reminds me of a boss fight in nioh 1 where oda nabunaga teams up with that ice lady...man i havent beaten them till this date😂 not sure if i can do this either😂😂
Shibata kicked my ass so hard like no other boss in this game. In way of the samurai. I was onehit because of my lightweight Ninjabuild. The dlc 2 endboss Tate Eboshi was even way harder. i beat the game then in NG++++ WotN Depths 30 after abyss 108
Saika is not a difficult fight at all. In fact he is one of the easiest. I beat him (and a good chunk of these bosses) first try. He’s fun sure, but no way is he the third hardest boss in Nioh 2.

I’d be able to keep up with the story and it’s characters better if they didn’t all have tongue twisters for names. That being said, I don’t think I would put Mumyo as the easiest boss.
If your struggling with any of the human bosses you need to rethink your build. Any decent min maxed build will absolutely melt their hp. Get in the blacksmith shop and make sure your gear has the stat bonuses that match what you are trying to do. If you want to to do max ki damage stack ki damage amd break. If you are a ninja stack ninjitsu and thrown weapon damage. Have the right gear and you will beat these guys in about 20 seconds. Good luck and keep slaughtering those Yokai.
I fought him alone, won in either the first or second try. Either I’m the exception or people forgot they can block and swap between stances for the sole reason of different dodging if needed. Should probably mention I found the first two bosses harder.

Katsuie shibata is by far the most difficult boss in the game, and the reason is that he is the most unpredictable of all the others
For me gyuki was the hardest boss but I find the snake lady and the eagle dude with mace are the hardest enemies in the game.
many of this bosses difficulty depends too much on your weapon and Build so i disagree with The Tokichiro fights.
Tokichiro and Keiji Maeda were among the hardest for my hatchet/kusarigama build. Interested to se how it goes my hatchet/fists build lol.

I put 500 hours into nioh one and beat snake boss in 2/3 tries tops, no boss in nioh 2 compared to hino enma from nioh 1 for me lol

For Naotaka 2nd fight all you have to do is break a blue cristal spawning a dark realm before getting to the boss area and the revenant won't spawn

Nioh 1 was very easy with ninjutsu build, you could stunlock most bosses by spamming kunai.

Gyuki has a glitch where if you get right in between his front and back legs, he'll keep moving in a circle to find you

Damn for me Nioh 2 is 10x the difficulty of Nioh 1. Most bosses are one shot. Nioh 2 is an entirely different story so far

@@AP-ok9rs I suggest doing low stance attacks, chip away and such, be ready to get outta there and when at full ki it’s wise to block.
You could've saved time by saying all the dojo bosses are easy. Or you could save more time by skipping them, as well know they're easy.

Kamaitachi was super easy i just did all my dmg buffs with my ippon-dattara and yatsu soul core he got defeated in like 40 secs

I'd say the Sword Saint, Otakemaru was a motherfucker, but took about 1/3 of the time for me to take down.
