I agree, we should be careful to whom we seek counsel from...those points that Ptr.Paul have listed are very on point..unknowingly, those were athe factors I considered when I needed an advice and counsel... experienced,mature with Godly wisdom, bears fruit,, with good track record of wise decision, thoughtful not reactive, committed to prayer..

We definitely have to weigh the situation and be led by the Spirit. If a person contemplating suicide you don't want to say let me go home and think about it.
In the book of 2. Chronicles there is a heavy yoke mentioned. The preacher believes, that heavy taxes are meant by it. -- Let us also discern between a yoke and a heavy yoke.
Wasn't Simeon considered to be part of the tribe of Judah by region? Then why did Ahijah give 10 tribes to Jeroboam while leaving 2 (Judah and Benjamin) to Rehoboam? Unless the 2 tribes would be referring to Simeon and Benjamin to the king of Judah?
