I got both sets - the superior 24 and the Seamiart 90 colors. Nice for journalling and for scanned artwork. Although I already have my customized 36 White Nights and 24 Sonnet, I still bought the above paints, they are really fun to play with , preserving my good paints for serious projects. I love the vibrancy and transparency of the Superior , while I noticed some of the colors from Seamiart set are a bit like milky consistencies, just sharing my thoughts. Happy painting!😊
I have both sets and i completely love them. For me Superior WC is my favorite despite of having less colors, as a beginner we should know how to mix colors more and not always rely on ready mixed ones, but having more colors to choose from is very great just a bit overwhelming sometimes. Having a larger mixing palette is also a plus of the Superior WC. When it comes to their performance, some colors of the Superior WC appears to be much vibrant than on the Seamiart also some colors on the Seamiart are a bit lighter than its orignal color (based on their name) cause they add a bit of white pigment on it. In terms of longevity, both does not indicate how lightfast the colors are. Overall, both are great for beginners, it will really matter on your preference. Hope this will Help😊

Actually I think Seamiart is better. I've been a artist for 26years now. I'm using Seamiart and Schmincke because of their vibrancy. I don't really prefer using Superior. I used superior once and I think that it's not really nice to use.
actually pag binasa pa po yung seamiart. lalabs po yung pigment na kaya takpan yung color black. seamiart din po kasi gamit ko and hindi po siya chalky. madali mablend kahit nasa paper na, just add some water
pero siguro mahirap gamitin ang seamiart for beginners lalo kung di pa alam mga stroke techniques dahil sobrang pigmented niya, so di nila gano mabblend nang maayos

I've been using MeiLiang for a week now and I simply can't work with these paints. Using them is not fun at all for me, it just frustrates me. I don't get why everyone is praising the so much. So I've ordered the Superior 48 palette to give those a chance, since I have no issues working with the Meeden watercolors which are much cheaper and - according to most reviewers - worse than the MeiLiang. For me they are better, honestly. So yeah, the Meeden and the also the Sonnet watercolors are my main palettes rn. The Sonnets are also cheaper than MeiLiang, and much better and easier to work with, imo.
I ordered seamiart yesterday And I wanna see if it's worth my money. If you're a student like me or a struggling artist, I recommend seamiart 50 colors with 6 detailed brush gift for 441 peso it's very vibrant and easy to fit in ur bag. But if you got the money and you're good with color theory go for the superior!! Its good too. If you wanna go cheaper Giorgione is recommended!
Based on my friends experience giorgione it's a bit chalky when it dries and it very thirsty it needs alot of water because it dries fast:< but it's good for beginners

Same reason why I ordered the Superior 😁 , although their pans are a bit smaller than the standard half pan, as they loosely fit sa metal tins ng prima. But , yes after consuming all the paints, I thought of refilling the pans with MM pure pigment someday. ☺️

Yes, normal po yun, something na oil ata yun para magstay sa shape yung bristles habang di pa ginagamitan ng water. Hugasan mo lang ng tubig, okay na yun!🎨💛
