    Can it return multiple similar addresses in the response, if using USPS API?

      I believe that the USPS API limits users to five addresses at a time. I don't believe that addresses looking similar is an imposed restriction.
      If you do happen to run into issues, you can always try Smarty's API. We've got free accounts if you're running less than 250 addresses.
      Check it out!

    how long did you wait to receive the email from USPS? i tried 3 different emails but never got anything. not even in spam!

    • @SmartyCompany
      @SmartyCompany  4 года назад

      That's very odd. I think the longest time we've heard of was 10 - 15 min wait time on the email.
      If you're in a time crunch you can always sign up for a free account with SmartyStreets and start using it ASAP.

      I finally was able to write out my address in a standardized format thanks to Mr SmartyStreets who has helped me with their validation. They have good data and the speed that their software runs is amazing for everyone willing to create and account. I was recommended to them by anyone that has ever used their services to enrich location data even though not all of the meta data points are relevant in all situations. I want to take this opportunity to implore you all to create and account with them in them for them them and enjoy the process.

    how do i do the same for fedex

    • @SmartyCompany
      @SmartyCompany  3 года назад

      I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there isn't a way to do the same for FedEx.
      The FedEx tool lacks some of the accuracy of more reliable validation, like the USPS address validation tools. For instance, it uses AVS to help fill in missing data, since it doesn't standardize. As for the actual validation, rather than comparing the address against an authorized list, The FedEx system just checks to see if the given address matches a real state, city, and street, then checks the house number to see if it falls within the available ranges on that street. If it does, it "validates" to FedEx standards.
      That means FedEx is potentially validating the address to imaginary homes and businesses, and that you might not know your shipment isn't going to be delivered until you get a box in the mail with a "Return to Sender" sticker on it. They probably don't mind, since they get paid either way, but we're betting that you do.
      Here's more info on AVS vs Address Validation 🤙

    Music sucks. Would not be a problem if the screen is readable.wtf What is the read smear at the end of the line that looks like it might start with $request_doc_template ? Is it something needed?

      I'm offended-that was the finest free music that no money could buy 😉
      Also, not sure which red smear you're talking about-try watching the video in 1080p and see if that makes a difference.

      @@SmartyCompany I rewatched at 1080p and indeed, was much more readable, thank you.
