For covering this insanely bizarre and awesome game, you've ascended to elder gods tier Shadowserg. This was my favorite game that literally not a single soul knows existed. According to my local Gamestop, I was literally the only guy who reserved this game.
Something so mesmerizing about the sword arts in the game made me gone "ooooh..." and played it for hours and hours... 😂😂😂 The counter attack, then reverse counter, then another counter, looked as if we're watching a Chinese classic sword kungfu battle, but this time we controlled it. It was on ps2, but it's still smooth af. Almost no lag.
This one of most underrated games I have ever played on the ps2 with the gameplay standing out. When I was in elementary school like 3rd grade, I recall my mom buying the game from Blockbuster for me and my brother for whatever reason as she thought it appealed it us. I still have the game.
Chaos legion is based on a light novel. Capcom's experiment about combination of team action and h&slash is a failure. Yes, I do hope Chaos legion will be back. After the success of DMC5, V has some Chaos legion elements. The story of chaos legion has a lot of points to exploit to become a vast universe, I think there's a lot of legions that Seign doesnt know or use in story. p/s: I personally don't think Chaos legion is a failure, it has good points. With ps2 player, this is a memorable gem.

It was a pretty fun game and the atmosphere was great. I know it's based off a story, so hopefully they could choose to do more with it some time. It took heavily from DMC at the time, and that's pretty standard in games. If it'd come out around the ps3 time, it'd probably be taking from God of War instead. Really I think it needs to have it's own mechanics fleshed out and invested in, because that was what made it unique and really fun to play.

It's the very beginning of the game when you first start the game, you're in the middle of a street then you start fighting some mob enemies while the opening song plays. Once that's over, the game will show your gameplay as the opening.
Best “sword battle / duel / clash” mechanic I’ve ever had the honour of playing. Yea yea there’s a ton of simulators, and all newer games that are quite good as well, but none are as smooth n entertaining as when you learn this mechanic and play sword boss fights on the higher difficulty levels. The clashes can keep going on without any dmg to neither combatant. Amazing.
Such a unique game: the combat system making wushu fights actually challenging, the badass intro and final boss. And they based the main character off some Kpop guy, lol Wish there was at least another game inspired by this one's game design

Indeed. I can still remember the Redemption song at the end of Dirge of Cerberus. Awesome as hell, even though not everyone loves playing shooter games(since Final Fantasy games is RPG and stuffs). Not that I mind of, though; I love shooter games, particularly FPS games.
I don't remember how the hell I got to play this game, but when I did it was very cool. The character was weird as fuck though hahaha. The sword play and counter system was one of the most awesome and movie-like/real fighting system that I can think of in those game years. You just wanted to keep dancing and slashing everything.

This game was really tight, but it was a shame that there were some levels and areas that have glitches, and because it was a PS2 disc, it did had a hard time loading certain areas too

How you made such good quallity video on this game ? Are you playing on Ps2 or on emulator ? And if on emulator, can you tell me your settings as I will never have such great quallity ;_;
You can buy controller anywhere, its not the point of my question. I am asking about configuration of his emulator, as this process is very advanced and a lot of things that avg person will never understand can be changed there. I just followed the guide on the official PCSX2 emulator site, and I am fine with what I got, Its like decent graphics on avg TV from 2007, but nothing like this one here above with sharp textures and crisp af colors.
Damn i miss this game. Im having a hard time playing this because my ps2 system only allow the japanese version to be played. So im playing it without knowing what is going on or what to do etc. But still fun and awesome game haha

I remember that night I dont know how to jack the sound cable, so I finish the intro without any sounds. Too many memories.

We were in an abandon toys in entirely empty store, but the center was raised 5 feet as a stage, and rei jenron pops up in the middle and starts flailing around like gyrados after he's been hit with a wicked Thunder shock by pikachu. I Never felt terror like that in my life. My favorite part was how the intro is the first battle! Best game ever!
Excellent fight mechanics with swords, but the worse story, only 2 weapons, magic spells confusing, collectibles items boring or with not relevant, gameplay boring without gameplay changes. The game is great, but God of War, Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry are much better. a shame PD: This is my favorite videogame, I can play it a lot of hours.
