At what resolution does the s22u do photos and videos in snapchat with a filter on and off can't find a video about it so I'm asking you in my s20 it does 640p videos not even 720p photos too but with the remaster option I fix them
As long as they are FINALLY working on this issue I don't mind if it looks a little choppy for now
As another commenter mentioned, only when Samsung can get video to be high-quality/not choppy/smooth like iPhone on the social media apps, then I will switch back to Android. Android really does have so much more to offer than iPhone but the damn camera NEEDS TO BE GOOD FOR SOCIAL MEDIA!

The problem isn't really just the quality of the picture or video but more the fluent, fast response, 60fps, like overall performance of the app itself. Even if the quality is gorgeous, the apps (whether snapchat or instagram) are not responsive and fluent as on a iPhone would be. Also the taken snaps or stories are not 60fps, as if its limited to 30fps, very buggy and glitchy. So annoying and frustrating.
That's the only reason I switched to iphone. I wish Samsung could do something about it, even though this issue has been going for many years. Once they fix it, then I'm back to android because really iphone has nothing else better to offer.

Thank god I don’t give a dam about social media anymore. I basically just comment on RUclips now. Otherwise I’d be in that predicament of being stuck to a iPhone which I definitely don’t want. I had a 13 for a year already and can’t stand it. Android is my thing.
@@kalduways11 it's not Samsung problem. It's google problem with old API and very difficult to do it on Android because of hundred of version. But why they can't fix it for flagship phone only, it's not rocket science.

Android phones have had a big improvement on the in-app camera , there is not much difference between them and iphones anymore. S22 Ultra is such a great Phone for those Who Will work with social media.
Are you mad? My s23 is awful at doing videos for Instagram stories compared to how iPhones work, I'm sorry I love my phone but we all gota admit android is awful at social media compared to iPhone
@@carstairs86it's not Android's fault it's the companies optimizing for the phones and the closed source firmware that devices implement for their components.
@@EmptyNullified no of course not but none the less the experience on Android compared to apple is quite subpar on many levels unfortunately. I still absolutely love my phone though!
@@carstairs86 what are you referring to exactly? That is a very broad statement. In my opinion, the experience is better on Android but that can be subjective.
Having a broader range of cheap accessories that work without having to pay for the MFI label or having the photos and files work like any other normal file system (like Windows or Linux) instead of storing them in a separate database or being able to transfer files via bluetooth between devices are just a few of the ways Android made my life easier.
I didn't even talk about customization, freedom to install apps from unknown sources (like fdroid apps which are 99% safe) or even being able to completely change the operating system itself because i don't normally do those but basic everyday tasks are easier for me.
@@EmptyNullified I totally agree with your points and I enjoy those things myself, but I was referring to the camera/video experience when using social media apps, for instance when using the video function on Instagram story and you try to zoom in and out while recording it's very choppy and bad quality, I came from an iPhone 12 pro max before and although I absolutely love my s23 ultra I do have to admit social media applications on iPhone offer a greater experience.

Why don't u use with Filters, in Snapchat & Instagram.. that's when the actual optimization kicks in. Noone is testing with those.

Well to be honest, the Google pixle series is basically the apple phone of androids when it comes to 3rd party app support
You know what? Apart from the ultra, I've noticed a similar optimization on the a52s, albeit without the wide angle lens
I think the compression of the video file in these apps is the reason for the video quality

Right I keep getting a message saying this filter isn't supported on this device....like wtf...this is a brand new phone that cost just as much as a gaming laptop ffs. Should be able to do anything you want on it.
try saving the filters and using them when opening them in the camera. it's a tiktok bug, not samsung's responsibility. Unfortunately tiktok treats android like garbage

Obviously i saw that video so late. But i just wanted to say that as long as they made it look good and they're still trying to make it better i totally have no problem with the video being a little slow or 30 fps since i'm not really in recording videos on in SM apps and since the phone is perfect in anything else so i'm good with it

Hey Parker I have a question Maybe you can help me out. I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra And I'm a truck driver I work in the Bush so I've been searching For a strong cell phone holder for my Phone. So I reached out to some people and they told me to get the steely ball softwadelete all cell phone holder it's a strong magnet. For my cellphone case I just have a regular Otterbox it's light weight. The situation I'm having right now because part of the magnet is on my my cellphone case I'm having problems with my S pen. I see the magnet is strong and it interferes with the interaction of the S pen when it comes to trying to use it because the Holding pieces in the center of the cell phone. Any suggestions would be helpful.

This video is a big lol. Go and pick 2 phones ie. Make a snapchat or insta snap from Iphone 11 and upload it, do the same with s22ultra, even a kid will tell u that only iphone snaps come iut smooth asf while s22ultra looks jittery and frame drops. I have s22ultra exynos

Too bad you didn't try WhatsApp for this video. Some people post videos there too in the "states" (stories) I don't know how it's called in English but it's the stories version for WhatsApp and it's well known that the quality with Android is terrible.
