What I always admire of them is their sense of originality. It's always so easy for them to build a "this song is so VIVIZ" genre since it's what they've done in their Gfriend career. This song has a lot of sing talking which has been a trend for quite a while in kpop. The repetitive chorus is also in line with trends. The vibe also appeals to the afrobeat trend (which I hope is over now). It's not as different from those songs as you might think. Regardless there were more than 4 songs released this year
