What a season of EWS! It seems like when Sam really need to win, he puts in another gear and smashes everyone else. With all the things that gone wrong for him this season, like sickness, puncture and missing a gondola, he really showed those champion qualities thats required to take the win. GOAT Dh & Enduro!
Next season is going to be nuts! Hill, Maes, Rude, Nicolai, Masters (Eddie) and Oton as well as new generation Dailly, Melemed, Miquel and Gauvin who have been consistent.
I feel the same but it is what it is and Maes is young. It broke my heart when the ruling came out but tbh it made for an epic season and I feel very confident that Martin will go on to be a dominant figure in the sport setting marks that will last for years, maybe decades.
Yup, now its officiall, this one made Sam the Greatest mountainbiker of all time, even one above Greg Minnaar! And probs also for Noga Korem for not giving up after that mechanical

Man, fantastic season. Great to see a sport where there's real competitive balance: Maes, Richie Rude, Eddie Master and Sam Hill can win on any given day. Florian and Melamed will be in the mix next year too. Wide open field, just hope everyone stays healthy and clean. Women could ahem, use a bit more of that, but I can see ALN and Noga Karem making it more interesting next year.

I wish I could try to race an ews race like this. THere isn't much climbing and most of it is in skilifts. I know I will suck anyway but it's like a day in a bike park

Many comments about great coverage, really??? Not disputing the professionalism here but I would prefer more rider coverage then all this blah blah and stats. This event gets no coverage as it is, so it would be great to see more of the riding then all this talk.
It must be pretty hard to celebrate the results when this year was marred by such a royal goof up by the sanctioning body. I can't help but feel by Hill's words about the title that he doesn't feel completely proud of this one, which is a shame because considering his circumstances entering the season he rode great all year.
The single most off-putting things about watching this is the bloody awfull music - so not needed. It does nothing to enhance the visual experience of seeing these top-class athletes in action. The producer needs sacked.

the stages are hiking trails but open for bikers aswell, so sick days for sure!
