We luckily didn't get it so bad this time, back in 2000 we had a really bad flood that ripped up the bridge at the end of my street. Earlier in the year we had a few flood incidents, it sucks living so close to a creek.
Floodings suck so bad!! During the summer, in my city, we fear the typical heavy rain every time. I live in a hill but downtown gets chaotic! Sometimes I wish I had a boat or something.
thats terrible nic!! I hope all of your household cars and belongings are alright.. I send you some sunshine your way I Hope it dries and brightens your day
we live close-ish to a river and usually the houses across the street have a lot of problems w/their basements flooding around this time of year (NE Ohio snow melt) luckily, our lovely cul de sac is on a good size hill it balances out though since when we get massive amounts of snow like this year, the city doesn't plow our circle. the people across the street have no problems getting into their driveways, while we are trapped in ours, the worst is when people can't get their cars up
Holy Crap!! We didn't get anything like that down here on Fort Dix...although we did get lots of fallen trees and shit. Guess we won't have to worry about a drought this summer! =/
My neighborhood actually flooded a few years ago. My dad had to walk home in chest high water practically swimming from about a half mile away because no cars could come through. The fire dept. evacuated pretty much everyone except our house and we spent the whole night waiting to see if we would have to leave. We ended up being one of a lucky few whose houses were okay. It was crazy seeing that much water everywhere like your neighborhood. I hope it clears up soon for you.
in my town we have loud ass sirens that go off if the water level gets too high. which honestly sounds scary followed by "warning: please get to higher ground" lol which obviously happened yest because of the rain.
So Sorry Nick :(! Us Alabamians dealt with it last week. One county of ours was just as bad as your flood. I hate y'all went through this but hopefully no one got hurt or killed.
Wow. I hope the water isn't putting your house in jeopardy... One time, it rained so much here that my friends street, backyard and basement were flooded. Bonus: They had to redo the entire basement and she got a new room.
oh no :( it's starting to do that here on the WV and OH border. The Ohio River is really high and flooding in areas so I understand how crappy it is :(
I live in New York and its raining really hard, but its not THAT bad... But yesterday my power was out all day... It sucked!!!!! By the way, whay did u play all of the depressing music?
I don't know what you're complaining about. That looks like a ton of fun. I bet it's not totally inconvenient or damaging to the properties. Not at all.
Something worse happened to me a few years back, there was a flood that knocked down everyone's fences and inside the houses were almost knee high with water and it was on top of a hill so the cars just floated downhill :P That was actually kinda funny. But anyway, good luck :) (And it was just because of rain -.-)
love NJ
Ugh, I'm from NJ too and it all the rain/flooding was beyond fail yesterday

That's insane!
The parks look like that every single time it rains in Arizona. In fact they build parks in the water retention areas. Smart, huh?
that's crazy.
Floods really suck. My town has been hit two summers in a row with severe flooding.
I hope everything dries up soon.
Oh no. That must have been scary to see. I'd be so freaked.
