Trial by radio, the lad didn't make it and can't handle it. Craig went to Norwich 300 miles away from home when he was a kid, knuckled down and made it in the game.
Two sides to every story football has gone soft. Craig is a proud Cardiff boy and Welshman hope one day he gets a job back at Cardiff one day has a lot to give back to football after retiring
Simon Jordan is so far gone with his ego it’s literally not worth listening to a word he says, as for the situation, sounds totally believable. Bellamy always has had a chip on his shoulder, toxic man.

Whether it be Alan Brazil's scathing of absolutely anything or anyone left leaning on a daily basis, or Bob Mills inability to get through a show without derogatizing a Northern accent at every opportunity. Add to that the pompous privilaged opinions of the likes Simon Jordon, Mike Parry and Mike Graham. Unfortunately, Talksport is a modern day version of the draconian BBC of the 70's, 80's and 90's and in my humble opinion, has absolutely no regard for impartiality in it's broadcasting.
Too much speculation here. Either side might be speaking the truth or the third option is that the truth lies somehere in the middle (as mentioned by Oneman Oneman).
So glad the dad came in and told the actual story. Jordan chatting crap before he came on and still had the nerve to ask did he do anything to deserve the abuse and bullying he was being subjected too. No matter what he did there is no reason to treat someone like that. To single someone out on a daily biased. To slag him off to the other players. No excuses!
Everyone’s battering Craig like you know what’s going on. Chelsea released his lad, spurs did, West Ham did...he’s now in America right? So presumably Cardiff did too...now the old boy has got the hump and wants to stain Craig’s character. I remember Nicky Butt saying the first team zipped him into a kit bag once and packed him with the luggage on the team coach. I feel like the games gone soft and everyone at 16 thinks they’ve already made it. I guess we will see what comes out.
Do you think being zipped in a kit bag and put it to the luggage compartment of a coach made him a better player, or that sort of thing is ok to do. If anyone did that to a child of mine they'd be getting something heavy smashed over their head as I see that as an equivalent response that they should accept in the same jolly spirit.

Dad = pushy, ex pro talking in his son’s ear about football etiquette and what to do to get ahead of the game and stand out. Why is Jordan even on the show. Even after listening to the fathers story he tried to blame the victim. Jordan is probably a bigger bully than even Bellamy.
What did Bellamy do?
Trial by radio, the lad didn't make it and can't handle it. Craig went to Norwich 300 miles away from home when he was a kid, knuckled down and made it in the game.
Two sides to every story football has gone soft. Craig is a proud Cardiff boy and Welshman hope one day he gets a job back at Cardiff one day has a lot to give back to football after retiring
David madden former Crystal Palace player.
Simon Jordan is so far gone with his ego it’s literally not worth listening to a word he says, as for the situation, sounds totally believable. Bellamy always has had a chip on his shoulder, toxic man.
These footballers seem a very unpleasant bunch.
What is Craig Bellamy's problem he had to start somewhere! He had to go to Norwhich to get a chance. Arrogant prick that he is. Talk sport need to get him on for a chat
Honestly how many clubs does this lad need to get rejected from for Dad to get the message, clearly Alfie is a trier however not good enough for proffesional football and it comes across your massivly in denial
Im sorry but this is a young man not a child , not an infant and sadly needs to realise he might not play at the level he wants to
Honestly Bellamy would get a slap
Not excusing Bellamy's actions as I wasn't actually there to see it, but maybe this kid just wasn't cut out for the demands of English football. We all know that the weaker boys can easily make themselves a target and get swallowed up, I was one of those. It also sounds like he wasn't impressing any of the previous clubs either so did he think that the red carpet would be laid out for him into the first team or what?
Craig should give alfie a slap
can i just say - never really liked him, but have massive respect for simon jordan and what he said at the start of this clip. he was spot on. sounds like bellamy at the moment has alot to learn about youth coaching. reckon it's a tough job.
So what happens when a player is outcasted by a club they train with the younger ages. The manager/coach doesnt want anything to do with them. 17 your still a adult no matter what, to me this seems like too many immature MEN are still getting mummy and daddy to fight there battles for them. Try playing rugby your ego is smacked out of you from 10. MEN NEED TO MAN UP
That whole station's full of middle aged Bigots, with a history of Bullying and Political posturing.
Bellamy told him he wasn't good enough I assume. Cardiff haven't had any good youngsters for years....Bellamy there to do a job.
welshie1979 rubbish he's a known thug
@@paulbradynsno8513 you know well neil ? Tell me more
Neil Rogers wankers in football are usually labelled that by being brutally honest on all levels
Lewis Cook what about when he attacked Jon arrne riise with a golf club he's a known thug
@@Fd20y wise and wise
Too much speculation here. Either side might be speaking the truth or the third option is that the truth lies somehere in the middle (as mentioned by Oneman Oneman).
So glad the dad came in and told the actual story. Jordan chatting crap before he came on and still had the nerve to ask did he do anything to deserve the abuse and bullying he was being subjected too. No matter what he did there is no reason to treat someone like that. To single someone out on a daily biased. To slag him off to the other players. No excuses!
Exactly. Just because you know Bellamy the mate, don't mean you know Bellamy the coach.
What did Bellamy actually do?
Everyone’s battering Craig like you know what’s going on. Chelsea released his lad, spurs did, West Ham did...he’s now in America right? So presumably Cardiff did too...now the old boy has got the hump and wants to stain Craig’s character. I remember Nicky Butt saying the first team zipped him into a kit bag once and packed him with the luggage on the team coach. I feel like the games gone soft and everyone at 16 thinks they’ve already made it. I guess we will see what comes out.
He was highly thought of at Cardiff!
dneilmusic14 fair play. Hopefully it’s not bullying though I guess we’ll see
Do you think being zipped in a kit bag and put it to the luggage compartment of a coach made him a better player, or that sort of thing is ok to do. If anyone did that to a child of mine they'd be getting something heavy smashed over their head as I see that as an equivalent response that they should accept in the same jolly spirit.
Making someone feel unwelcome and embarrassed everyday, is different to a prank.
danfire70 you completely missed the point. 😂👍
Bellamy is an UXB
Never used to like Simon Jordan but hearing him talk on talk sport the more I like him
mark nye he speaks for the fans
SUMMARY:
Bellamy = nasty arse hole.
Alfie = thinks he’s the next big thing.
Dad = pushy, ex pro talking in his son’s ear about football etiquette and what to do to get ahead of the game and stand out.
Alfie sets up his own micro training sessions, comes across arrogant, rubs Bellamy the wrong way. Words are said, parents don’t like it.
This is the world we live in. All parties are in the wrong. Misguidance, parents trying to vicariously be professional footballers (again) through their kids. All very petulant... but this is generation victim.
That sounds spot on there!
i dont know bellamy deosn't have the best track record for a man who tried to smash riise with a golf club wouldn't suprise that he bullys young players
He was told by Alan shearer if he ever returned to Newcastle he was going to bray fuck out of him. Don’t think this kid had to do much wrong to have Bellamy turn on him. Probably took one look and thought. I don’t like this kid
So, speaking as someone who knows fuck all about the situation, you thought you'd summarise? Well done.
I was unsure but listening to the father bellamy sounds like a bully. Has jamie Carragher spat on anyone lately?
Who knows but Bellamy always did come across as the local village scallywag/bully to me. I warmed to him on sky sports as he generally kept my interest. But I find this fairly believable. Again though, who knows.
