    The full truth of the story may never come out, but what we can all agree on is Bellamy has form for being a horrible little man. If it was another player who’s always been seen as a good role model, maybe some people would be more inclined to think it was exaggerated. But based on his track record I’d say it’s absolutely true. Bellamy has always come across as a little toerag with a bad temperament.

    Well said Simon. My 10 year old is in his 4th season of rugby. The coach shouts at them when he needs to and the parents leave him to it. We have no prima donnas or snowflakes, just a great bunch of kids who respect the coach, the sport, each other and the opposition. I talked my son out of playing football last year (he was playing both) because the parents were screaming at the kids in-match, wanting to fight opposition parents and constantly moaning st the coach if their kid didn’t play as the parent wanted.

    If the aim is to better the player you understand, if the aim is to humiliate, scare, scar and be little it is bullying the key is earning respect as the coach if you frighten rather teach you failed. I get the argument but any coaching aim is to improve the players so they improve and learn from you. A place of power is to help others.

    I make this bloke right. I was a youth worker for many years and the best way of building a young persons character is to take a group of them camping somewhere in the middle of nowhere where they have to face challenges and hardship and learn to work together (i.e put them in the shit together and they will find a way). However, this kind of youth work has disappeared completely and it's another example of young people not being shown the inevitable obstacles adult life will throw at them and not being made to take personal responsibility. I feel sorry for so called millenials, they are so entitled because they are products of piss poor and lazy parenting. We can't blame them, we made them that way.

    I have worked in child protection and safeguarding. How Craig Bellamy secured the role at Cardiff City FC is beyond me. Employers have a legislative duty of care to pursue references from previous employers and a fully enhanced DBS Disclosure. Once references and a DBS have been secured, only then would a decision be made as to whether an individual is appropriate for the role and whether to one, interview the candidate and two, make a formal offer of employment. Employers ought to be acutely aware of their due diligence obligations, future litigation and potential safeguarding risk. In my capacity as a parent, would I be comfortable with Craig Bellamy coaching my children? No, absolutely not. His biography contains little suggestion of any remorse for what occurred while he was employed by Liverpool FC. In view of that, Craig Bellamy represents a significant risk of well-being to others.

    Stupid comment re Pogba. If your boss keeps telling you that you are rubbish then you will become rubbish. Players do not need treating with kid gloves but need a bit of carrot AND stick not just stick all the time.

When Mourinho was basically telling Pogba to fuck off in training and singling him out for things like Instagram posts (when it wasn't just him) and embarrassing him by calling the bloody club's head of media into an open training session, why would any player want to try their best for that person?

      Exactly - Fergie wasn't just blowing his top & "hairdrying" constantly. You can't foster loyalty or generate performances for the duration he did by being a prick all the time. He knew how to make them feel like world beaters first & then would rip into them if they got complacent.

We all know that the weaker boys can easily make themselves a target and get swallowed up, I was one of those. It also sounds like he wasn't impressing any of the previous clubs either so did he think that the red carpet would be laid out for him into the first team or what?

The manager/coach doesnt want anything to do with them. 17 your still a adult no matter what, to me this seems like too many immature MEN are still getting mummy and daddy to fight there battles for them. Try playing rugby your ego is smacked out of you from 10. MEN NEED TO MAN UP

    That whole station's full of middle aged Bigots, with a history of Bullying and Political posturing. Whether it be Alan Brazil's scathing of absolutely anything or anyone left leaning on a daily basis, or Bob Mills inability to get through a show without derogatizing a Northern accent at every opportunity. Add to that the pompous privilaged opinions of the likes Simon Jordon, Mike Parry and Mike Graham. Unfortunately, Talksport is a modern day version of the draconian BBC of the 70's, 80's and 90's and in my humble opinion, has absolutely no regard for impartiality in it's broadcasting.

Jordan chatting crap before he came on and still had the nerve to ask did he do anything to deserve the abuse and bullying he was being subjected too. No matter what he did there is no reason to treat someone like that. To single someone out on a daily biased. To slag him off to the other players. No excuses!

    Everyone’s battering Craig like you know what’s going on. Chelsea released his lad, spurs did, West Ham did...he’s now in America right? So presumably Cardiff did too...now the old boy has got the hump and wants to stain Craig’s character. I remember Nicky Butt saying the first team zipped him into a kit bag once and packed him with the luggage on the team coach. I feel like the games gone soft and everyone at 16 thinks they’ve already made it. I guess we will see what comes out.

      Do you think being zipped in a kit bag and put it to the luggage compartment of a coach made him a better player, or that sort of thing is ok to do. If anyone did that to a child of mine they'd be getting something heavy smashed over their head as I see that as an equivalent response that they should accept in the same jolly spirit.

    SUMMARY:
    Bellamy = nasty arse hole.
    Alfie = thinks he’s the next big thing.
    Dad = pushy, ex pro talking in his son’s ear about football etiquette and what to do to get ahead of the game and stand out.
    Alfie sets up his own micro training sessions, comes across arrogant, rubs Bellamy the wrong way. Words are said, parents don’t like it.
    This is the world we live in. All parties are in the wrong. Misguidance, parents trying to vicariously be professional footballers (again) through their kids. All very petulant... but this is generation victim.
