Love the video as always. The way my grandma taught me to do cranberries is the cranberries, one cup blueberries, strawberries or diced apples, one cup orange juice, and one cup of sugar. The only way I eat them now. That dough is beautiful. If you’re looking for rolls you can eat there’s a gf chef, chef Alina her roll recipe is wonderful. Happy holidays dear. Much love and many blessings.
Everything looks so festive, cozy and delish! When I was a teenager, (now I’m sixty-one) I worked at an inn one summer and they made that same pineapple dish. He called it escalloped pineapple. The guests loved it, and so did I! Thank you for showing that recipe. I’m gonna try that this year! Your home is like a big, warm hug. Thank you for your channel! 🥰🙌🏻
Kelsie, I have two suggestions for you, one is I keep my yeast in a wide mouth pint canning jar, it’s easy to get the measuring spoons into and storage is so easy in the jar, even in the freezer. Two, you might want to think about moving the philodendron plant from near the mixer and any foods, it is highly toxic if ingested. Keep doing what your doing, your videos are very enjoyable
I have baked sweet potatoes in the oven for 70 years. just lightly oil the skins. Poke holes in them? Never heard of that. Never had one explode.🤷. Love the pumpkin snapped rolls!
20:16 As a kid, and even now as an adult, I would love that the “pumpkin” rolls are naturally divided into sections that I could pull apart and eat individually. 🤷🏻♀️ lol
I just bought 2 bags of cranberries and wanted to search for a good recipe for them! This is right on time! I've always been a canned cranberry girl myself, but, wanted to add something new this year, and they were on sale at my Aldi for .99 cents a bag
The squash looks delicious, well everything does! The rolls were really fitting to the holiday, great idea! I will def be trying the glaze on my asparagus next time I make it. I am in such a cooking/recipe funk, so I thank you greatly for sharing all these new to me recipes. Hearing the kids in the background is always a joy. Blessings
Thank you so much I learn so much from you! Two people in my family have similar allergies and it’s hard to think how to convert recipes thank you so much for the ideas❤️😁
Our family makes the pineapple casserole too. We love it so much. And I agree with you on the bread. Everything you've made looks beautiful and delicious
I used cranberry juice last year rather than water it was wonderful and i canned it in 2 and 1/2 cup jars. Its a wonderful bread spread or any other condiment that the holiday needs for cranberry sauce. I also make cranberry relish type salad with oranges and apples with raspberry jello love it served with whip cream and toasted pecans just to die for.
Love your cranberry recipe! I never ate the canned stuff as a kid, but I love homemade ones. Another little twist is adding some chopped dried apricots, and brandy or grand marnier are good swaps if you don’t have bourbon on hand. Both of those rolls I will definitely make this holiday season, but as a new baker I’ll just make for home to test, but not sign up to bring them to Thanksgiving in case they don’t turn out on my first try. 😅
I'm also not a fan of squash, but I would dive into that stuffing!😊 Everything looks delicious. I may have to make that pineapple stuffing the next time I bake a ham. The pumpkin rolls are so cute! I'm afraid those asparagus bundles would never make it to the fridge, much less the table. "Quality Control" gone wild! 😂 😋 BTW, one of our local grocery stores sells them for $9.99/pound! 🫨
When I freeze something like the honey butter rolls or even a extra lasagna, I freeze the topping along with the item. When I defrost the rolls or the meal, I don't have to worry about having what I need or if it's still good. It helps me so much in the end.
You can still make the cranberry jellied sauce. I make it every other year. And my family loves it and especially they like that it “looks” like the canned stuff but tastes so much better. I also take the leftover berries and make a crushed berry sauce so nothing goes to waste.
Everything looks really good and I adore balsamic vinegar - so the asparagus is the first thing I will be making. I love the balsamic on ice cream, strawberries, and especially on roasted cherry tomatoes. Thank you for so many side dishes, the acorn squash will be my supper with the asparagus. YUM
You’ve got some great ideas here Kelsey! Thank you for sharing the recipes. I made and canned cranberry sauce last year and it was such a treat to have it throughout the year. We are big fans of cranberry sauce and cream cheese on leftover turkey sandwiches. I usually purchase a few turkeys around this time and cook them throughout the year so having the cranberry sauce on the shelf is a must! Looking forward to Fridays pie day! Blessings to you.
Kelsie, I made your Tried and True Dinner Rolls tonight and they were delicious! My pumpkin shaping however will need a bit of practice. A lot of the string pulled off small pieces of the roll when I removed it. You do remove it when the rolls are still pretty hot, correct?
I’m glad they were enjoyed! I wait until they have cooled somewhat but I don’t wait too long or they seem to hang on to them a bit more. You could try tying the string a bit looser or perhaps soaking the string in oil first!
Such wonderful recipes, thank you for sharing! Do you mind me asking what area that you’re in? I used to live in Grand Forks and it was so cold. I currently live in Tx. and it’s 90 degrees today. Waiting for the ‘cold’ front to get here in a couple days. Blessings to your family!
We are in PA near Harrisburg! We don’t seem to ever have gradual changes in temps, just unexpected jumps from pleasant to frigid and frigid to hot and humid 😂 thanks for watching!
My pleasure! I can give you serving amounts! Sweet potato casserole-10, pineapple stuffing-8, the cranberry sauce came out to about 1.5 cups. I’d expect each half of acorn squash to be a serving. I usually count 2 rolls per person. 3 asparagus bundles per person. We usually have 12-15 ppl attend although not everyone likes everything!
Was able to watch the first video before you had to take it down. Everything turned out great! Those pumpkin shaped rolls are absolutely adorable and will be something I’ll be making for Thanksgiving. I’ve never been a fan of cranberry sauce but the sauce you made looks delicious! They are a little pricey but if you’re just using them to top the sweet potato casserole then I think it’d be worth it. I use them when I make my s’mores cookies and they toast beautifully in the oven. Another hack you could try is toasting your homemade marshmallows yourself with a small blow torch. Hope these suggestions help! Great video Kelsey!!
You’re amazing, thank you! I haven’t found any natural marshmallows around her but perhaps I could look online! Thank you for the suggestions and your sweet support, it’s much appreciated. Blessings and enjoy all the recipes 🤍
I love hearing the kiddos in the background, makes me smile

Such a warm cozy video. Thank you.

Your an amazing teacher an explain thing’s really well.
I made both sets of these rolls today. First pan is in the oven now!😊
The pumpkin bread is priceless I enjoyed watching you make these meals❤👍
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

Yes! I love peel apart anything 😂
Love those little edible pumpkins! Am so enjoying every one of your videos.

Oh I so hope you enjoy it!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pumpkin shaped roll idea! I will be doing this for Thanksgiving, thank you!
Yay! They are super cute! Enjoy 🤍
Instead of using plastic wrap on top of your bowl of rising dough just put a dinner plate over the top. Saves plastic!
Oh good idea, thank you!! ❤️
Thank you for sharing 😊
Oh, my goodness. Everything looks SO good. Can't wait to try these!
Hope you enjoy! Thank you ❤️
Beautiful 😊
The pumpkin shaped rolls you could also put a clove for the stem. Both sound so awesome, can't wait to make!
Great idea!! Thank you and enjoy! ❤️
Looks delicious 🤤 Hey from Denmark 🇩🇰
Hello and Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
The little pumpkin rolls are so cute. I love asparagus so I will be making that soon.
If you are looking for a great gluten free pie crust, I really enjoy the America's Test Kitchen Gluten Free Pie Crust. It is absolutely delicious!
Ok those are the cutest rolls in the entire world. I definitely wanna try those and the honey rolls! Bourbon in cranberry sauce!!! I am sold!!
So good! Thank you and enjoy ❤️❤️❤️
Nice looking rolls. Bet they are very tasty.
They Sure are! Thanks for watching ❤️

Thank you so much I learn so much from you! Two people in my family have similar allergies and it’s hard to think how to convert recipes thank you so much for the ideas❤️😁
i think i would have saved some seeds to plant in case they were a winner tasting squash, looks amazing
A handful got rinsed and dried ☺️
Thank you so much for making gf recipes!,,
My pleasure 😊 enjoy!
Our family makes the pineapple casserole too. We love it so much. And I agree with you on the bread. Everything you've made looks beautiful and delicious
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m jealous of your cold weather! It’s going to be 80° all week here in Tennessee! This makes me wish it was colder so I can get in the holiday mood 😂
I think it would be tough for be to be in holiday spirits if it were warm too! Hopefully soon ❤️
I love your videos! I always double wrap any bread that I freeze. It really makes a difference.
Thank you do much! It sure does ❤️
Lovely dishes 💛
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
That squash has my mouth watering!!!!

Those pumpkin rolls look so cute. I definitely want to make those.
Aren’t they the cutest?! Enjoy ❤️
@@seedandsparrowhomestead they truly are!!
Lucky you it was 80°F here today. Doesn't make me happy at all. I'm so ready for the cold. I guess you always want what you don't have.
Usually seems to go that way 😂 blessings ❤️
Those pumpkin shaped rolls are adorable!
Thank you so much! 🤍
Never had the canned sauce. My grandma also made homemade. We still make a baked one with apples and cranberries. It's good hot or cold. We love it.
Sounds delicious!

Love this video. Will try the cranberries and the rolls. Thank you
Thank you! Enjoy ❤️❤️❤️
Wish I could make homemade rolls and bread. You make it look so simple.
You can do it! The more you do it the easier it gets! I’ve been baking for the better part of my life and I’m still learning 🤍
I'm also not a fan of squash, but I would dive into that stuffing!😊

I so needed this today! Inspired me to do more ahead
❤️❤️❤️ I’m glad it helped!

Yes I’ll have to try that! This recipe is just so little work which is super appealing 😂 Thank you! ❤️
@@seedandsparrowhomesteadI hear you on the easy part!
Have you ever tried using your canned mock pineapple for this stuffing? I'm still trying to find some more good uses for mine.
All the recipes look really good! ❤

Is the sweet potato casserole a desert? Same for pineapple stuffing. Not recipes we would have in UK

Hi friend, I'm wondering if using a thick sourdough is alright for the pinnacle Stuffing or should I use more of a white loaf?
Hey! Absolutely! I’ve also used the Hawaiian loaf too! Whatever you have ☺️
Kelsey thank you so much❤, you are Amazing ‼️ Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Could I can the cranberry sauce? 🤔
There are approved recipes however this is not one of them! I'd take a look in the Ball Canning Books :)
Acre Homestead has made marshmallows
Do they melt well? I’ve made some too but they don’t behave like store bought 🤔
