I know this video is 5 years old, but it's a really good presentation! I really enjoy hearing all the significant things that have occurred because of what was developed in the BSD's, whether it was BSD/OS, FreeBSD, NetBSD, or OpenBSD. You can almost say they changed the world considering many OS's that we used today "lifted" the TCP/IP stack which we all rely on to surf the web, pay our bills, watch movies, etc.

Can you please include the presentation slides? I'm sure there are more people out there that like to have the slides side-by-side with the speaker.

A few seconds into the viddy and we have already noticed minor audio issues. Lowering the recording levels might have improved the audio quality.

Microsoft... research. The shortest joke ever.
    FreeBSD is great though.

Microsoft Research is the best part of Microsoft IMHO

@@FindecanorNotGmail Sure, lots of research into strong type systems/formal systems, alternative operating system models (not Windows related) and even quantum computing. Lots of it is in the open and open source.

What a bad video. The slides show up for a second only. Who wants to see the same person walking around, again and again and again.,.
