Damn, feels so good to see your side project get mainstream. Have been following you from some time and I loved this video. I am still working on improving the codebase by letting the agents interact with stackoverflow, etc. Would love to make a video or collaborate with you some time!
Definitely think a side by side review of these agentic programmer platforms should be done. I know you like Aider best but like all the reasons why would be nice to see. Also, what features does the other platforms have that Aider should incorporate?
I like Claude Engineer. But the problem is it's limited to 20,000 tokens per minute, I think for tier 1 plan. It's frustrating especially when you are on automode.
you've talked about aider, claude engineer and now devyan. But you've never mentioned which can write and make code changes in an real entire code base of a project. which one of this can do it?????
Is there any such agent that uses web chat instead of API? If we don't have the hardware to run Deepseek Coder V2 nor the money to pay for API, can't we utilize the free web version in the background and get the task run?
Hey, I am creator of devyan. I have tested devyan with some complex problems as well. You can check out the demo in my repo to see an intermediate codebase being generated. That sound, I will be improving a lot in the future.
@@agi_lab OK. Fingers crossed. I would add product manager to your team, and validate more often, already after architecture step, if the solution is indeed meeting the requirements. Or even negotiate the requirements between architect and PM. And respectively, further down the road, architect and developer. If the implementation has a testing phase only after some code was created, this likely is too late as many decisions have been taken wrongly by then.

I don't know what Flowise is. But, it can do any kind of coding, put it in a file and stuff like that. It can interact with Graphical Interfaces.

I haven't tried Aider but from experience, I prefer Claude Engineer if it wasn't for it's limitations on tokens used per minute.

It's better to use LightningAI, Google Colab and other such free options instead of using the limited chat interfaces.

Maybe it can do a lot.. But the demo goes nowhere further than one shot with old models had given us already a year ago. So quite disappointed.
