Guys remember to share the video everywhere, we need to get Bridear as popular as Hanabie and Nemophila they definitely deserve to be. They are my top 3 favorites and we need to get them on a world tour together ! ✌🙂
I'm torn between them and trident for my top spot, but Kimi's my girl. 😊 Nemophila just had a premier also, Rise. It is badass. Gonna be tough for anyone top it this year.
@@randelldanner8588 Trident is definitely good too. Kimi and the early Bridear members is the whole reason I got into J -Rock, Light in the Dark did it for me ! Oh and I watched Sky Pirates from Fate Gear and I was hooked with the female groups from Japan 💖
Liked Bridear earlier in their career before everyone left except the singer and bassist. Since then they've become more poppy sounding. This song isn't too bad though.
Is there something in the water in Japan that makes all the women experts at playing amazing rock and metal music? We must import their water to the other nations of the world and make sure the women drink it daily!
It's literally due to their education system. Music education is compulsory up to middle school - around twice a week. Then in high school, students are not required but highly suggested to join after school clubs (well, them with their goup think). Most boys join sports clubs and the girls join various other clubs including music clubs. (Many anime and manga depicting high school life will show this). The anime "K-On!" also contributed to the cultural phenomenon of all girl bands. So, there are actually more girls joining the music clubs than boys. And many of them pursue the music career after high school. This is why you have so many all girl bands in Japan. And they are highly skilled; their average level is very high.
@@fastskipper777 I think you mean K-On the manga may've had some influence, cause the Anime started about the same time that a small number of all-girl or multi-girl bands had already been a thing and had already released albums or had just formed that same year. At any rate, such bands numbered in the low single digits before 2010 and only blew up into the high single digits in 2014 and into the teens around 2016-2018 and new bands still keep popping up still in 2023. The things you mentioned I'm sure played a part in it, but I think it's no coincidence that these years coincide with the successful explosion of BABYMETAL internationally: headlined and sold out the legendary Budokan in 2014, later the DVD/Blu-ray debuted at 3 and 1 respectively on the Oricon charts. Their first world tour, the historic Sonisphere performance etc. Then in 2016 the historic feat of their 2nd album being the first Japanese album in 53 years to chart in the US Billboards Top 40. Also, interestingly enough Aldious, one of the pioneering all-female bands of the mid-2000s also had their best album sales around the same time. It was also after BABYMETAL's successful British and US tours that BAND-MAID first announced their plans to go international. One of Nemophila's early most viewed videos was a BABYMETAL cover. The skills and talent may've been there, but I really think this level of international success from a band fronted by 3 Japanese girls really emboldened these women into making more and more bands that's really resulted in such a ridiculous concentration of an all-female or multi-female Rock-centric musical movement. Not to mention the the type of themes they seem to almost collectively touch on as Japanese women given the societal expectations and norms of Japanese society towards Japanese women. It always makes me hearken back to the song, "Megitsune." AC/DC famously sang, "It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll.)" Well, that road gets even longer in Japan, especially for Japanese women. Sure, there's LOVEBITES, BABYMETAL, BAND-MAID and Nemophila getting and bringing lots of attention, but most of it is outside of Japan and that's just four bands out of the many, MANY bands out there in Japan, and several of who are still active, or have died, come back, dissolved, reformed into other groups or gone into permanent hiatus. It's definitely a concentrated effort, that's really not happening anywhere else as far as Rock (which Metal is a part of) is concerned, but these women clearly are doing it out of passion and love when considering the tiny Japanese halls the majority of these bands play in and rarely progress past no matter how extremely talented they are or how good the music is. It's a movement going on for over a decade now and it sure would be nice if it finally became more mainstream than it is so many more bands could benefit. and modern music as a whole could benefit. Anyway, these are just my humble thoughts on it for whatever that's worth.
Oh great, another all-female Japanese band I have to love...lol. Along with, Nemophila, Band-Maid and Lovebites. Took me forever to remember their names. The talent level from these ladies coming out of Japan is insane.
Still loving this song, I love the new album, but I don't want to forget about these great Bridear songs. I saw the interview with old Mr. B. Incredible guitarists.
Fantastic song, Arigatou BRIDEAR. Glad I'm subbed and all notifications. Just found this eleven days after. I'm looking at you RUclips. Keep up with me. 💘🌸💮🌹🌺
I run into your comments on tons of the Jrock I listen to. You're really well versed on what's out here on youtube. Would you want to make a video talking about your favorite bands and why you like Jrock?
Wow these gals ROCK!!! I concur with everyone else.. these ladies need to make it big! (and I am honored to be lucky enough to crank the likes over from 3.7 to 3.8K! .first timer! )
Awesome song from an excellent band. I was lucky enough to meet you all at Manchester in the UK. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you all and rock out with you. Keep being amazing 🤘
There are so many incredibly talented and beautifully presented all-female bands in Japan. Some are playing in the UK this year, at least 3 at Download and fortunately I have a ticket to see Lovebites in London, but would pay to see this band also.
I think Bridear is the best all female rockband from Japan. 5 really skilled musician. By picking Moe as their new guitarrist made the band even better. She is really skilled.
Another bevvy of Japanese beauties killing the rock scene!! Moe....OMG I'm in love all over again, sooo pretty and an excellent guitarist. Must say the first few bars of this sound almost identical to Lonesome Blue!!
Very nice song! I like this, definitely one of my top recently discovered bands. Nemophila, Hanabie, Bridear!🥰 I'm glad there are many awesome hard rock and metal bands in Japan that make great music!
So…..late to comment, even though I’ve watched more than a dozen times (and counting!): this resonates more than you know; the past four+ years have been fraught w/all manner of misery. But it’s songs like this one-along w/‘ Brave New World’ that continue to lend me hope in the midst of so much chaos…Domo arigatougozaimasu, ladies; your impact remains far greater than you know. 😢❤
Ah! I found one of their songs in 2020. So glad to see they're continuing. We gotta share and support these guys because their old school sound has been becoming scarcer these days.
THEY'RE BACK !!!! Great track. Hope there will be more in the coming months. Their latest "Aegis of Athena" is really awesome, from start to end. Can't wait for the next one. Bridear is definitely on my top bands all around with Nemophila, Hanabe and Asterism. Take good care of yourselves ladies, because we need you, all of us. I wish you the very best for 2023.
Best Metal Band. Number 1. My favorite! Thank you! USA - Ohio! Greetings! Blessings and SUCCESS for all of you! Truly top notch. -❤️☀️ ••• Stop by the Channel sometime when you get a chance. #SunSimLord
I really like this song. I also hope that Bridear will go heavier and more metal in the future. Great solo parts from Moe and Ayumi, they really work well together.

Lovebites doesn't make your top 3 Japanese all girl metal bands?

The combination of poppier material, heavy stuff and prog works for me.
They were heavy in the beginning. The one guitarist, who has since left, did the harsh vocals
@@aaronslibrary7745 Haru the bassist does the harsh vocals now. I think she does more of them live than in studio versions
