    Glad everyone was okay. Good on you for looking out for your brother and nephews. An appreciation and respect for the elements is a true sign of outdoor experience! Thanks for taking the rest of us along and appreciate the uploads! I didn’t know about your other channels and I am now subscribed to those as well!

    Despite the madness going on in my life I'm back to uploading videos and will leave it to a lawyer to deal with my situation.

    If anyone was wondering I didn't film my nephews/family because my brother prohibited it, aside from shots from behind. I'd rather film everyone else but myself but I abide by his rules. Just wanted to point that out if people think it's an ego thing why all the shots are of me.

    What a shame your plans went awry due to weather. But really glad your brother didn't risk it with the canoe. I can imagine the worry you felt while waiting. Beautiful country and the sheep was amazing! Looking forward to the next adventure!

      Ya we didn't need to unintentionally create "brothers almost die" ep.3... IE see my Broken Group series for ep.1 and 10 Mile Traverse for ep. 2 of that lol.

    Upper kan is always an interesting spot the weather can change very fast. also I noticed you guys were loading fire wood. point is now a fire free area no fires are allowed anymore.

      @IdRatherBeHiking  11 месяцев назад +1

      It's actually switching back to allowing fires, my brother is the land management officer of southern alberta.

      @@IdRatherBeHiking That is good news, I know they have been getting a lot of back lash from removing the fire pits at point and Elbow lake . great news thanks for that.

    no fires allowed there anymore im guessing the 40lbs of wood didnt help the canoe float

    • @IdRatherBeHiking
      @IdRatherBeHiking  Год назад

      I think that canoe is designed to be holding an additional 200 lbs of another adult so while the wood didnt help it was just too windy making the waves too high

    People think we will die of Betelgeuse. So I have been praying about it and I don’t want you to do it.

      A big red super nova?

    • @amyrobinson3119
      @amyrobinson3119 Год назад

      Yeah if a grain of sand were to hit the earth at the speed of light it would explode the solar system.
      There is active and inactive phases of Betelgeuse and the star will go into an active phase two months from now last active phase scientists were seemed very certain of this.
      We could all be the first and last to go…

    Idk, I think your content would be nicer if you have solo travel videos, it think for yourself it’s also nicer to really do what you want and share your experience as a RUclipsr. But this is just the first video of your channel that popped up on my feed, on to the next , you might surprise me 😂 nice editing & storytelling tho

      I have around 150 adventure videos, about 120 of those are solo. The odd one has friends or family in them.
