- If you are traveling through Croatia, then you have nothing to think about, Omiš is a city that you simply must see in Croatia! Omiš is a town and port located in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia, along the Adriatic Sea coast.
It is situated at the mouth of the Cetina River, surrounded by stunning cliffs and mountains. Omiš has a rich history dating back to ancient times and has been influenced by various cultures, including the Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, and Ottomans.
Historic Old Town: The old town of Omiš is characterized by narrow winding streets, stone houses, and charming squares. It reflects the town's history and heritage.
Fortresses: Omiš is known for its fortresses that were historically used to defend the town from invaders. The Fortica (Starigrad) fortress is particularly famous and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Beaches: The town offers beautiful pebble beaches along the coast, making it a popular destination for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports.
Cetina River: The Cetina River that flows through Omiš is famous for its stunning canyon, where visitors can enjoy activities like white-water rafting, kayaking, and canyoning.
Pirate History: Omiš has a unique history of piracy. In the past, the local pirates known as "Omiški gusari" would use their knowledge of the local waters to attack passing ships.

It's unique what pictures can do to you. Especially when they have the quality of these recordings. I'm still in a daze and very impressed by your footage. Simply incredible drone flights. And no longer I feel like just a simple viewer of your video, but rather as a passenger on the drone and fly with it at enormous heights over these spectacular mountains and incredible landscape. From high above I get the best view of the town and its hustle and bustle and I enjoy every moment and scene. Fantastic images for a great video about an impressive town. 😍🙌👌💯

There is something about the drones birds eye view that gives the viewer a sense of freedom and escapism. Particularly when combined with your superb selection of shots, showcasing this amazing place to it's fullest potential. I planned to leave and cross the bridge, however, I was in July and the crowds were huge, and after I found a parking space, I didn't want to drive around the city for more than an hour to find a new place to park. 😃
