    Just so you know, the charger voltage was lower because the charger was peaked in current limit. In other words, the charger can only output so much power. So when the battery voltage is really low, the charger would have to produce more current than it's capable to accommodate the battery's needs all at once. The voltage is in a see-saw relationship with the current so when current is peaked, voltage is lowered to charge the battery and be closer to match the battery's state of charge voltage. Hope this helps.

    I don't have a boat and am not really interested into owning one but I have to say you make great content and I hope our comments and likes help you reach more people. That being said, I have a video suggestion and that is how different UV light types (A,B,C) affect UV resin curing time and hardness. Maybe make like 6 lures and do batches of 2 per UV light type for testing time untill tacky and time untill fully cured.

    thank you so much for the video, i was having a hard time deciding between bateries and you sold me on this one. I have a 3 meter inflateble boat and i am going to put a 40lb minkota troling mottor, im going to hook it up with this battery. The whole weight with me and the motor and the battry should be about 100kg. I should be fine right? thanks for the video, perfect timing for me!

    It would be great to be Able to get this in Australia.
    And I would be interested to know if it could be used with automotive under bonnet usage

      @@EngineeredAngler thxs for your reply.
      I wouldn't be using to start the engine it would be used as a secondary battery to run the fridge in the car.
      Just would like it not to have to have the battery inside the car and would like it to be in the engine bay.
      Thxs again

    Great video. I want to know how those battles handle cold and hot temperatures? I lost several batteries last winter because of unusually cold temperatures for my area. Also how well do they do wired in series for 24 vdc applications?

    • @EngineeredAngler
      @EngineeredAngler  5 месяцев назад +1

      I have had 2- 100 amp hour batteries wired in series for my 24 volt trolling motor on my flats boat. I have given them some hard work. Two day tournaments with no charging in between. I'm super happy with the batteries.

      When cold, pull your battery out, even over one night and keep it on room temperature, when installed and under load, they'll keep themselves warm enough to not deteriorate. In the peak of the sommer? May lord help you 🤣

      @@Toaster79 I had mine on a maintainer but I was out of town when the cold hit. They were in the boat in a garage and still went down. Because I live on the Gulf Coast I really don’t have to winterize my boat but I’ll take better precautions next time.

    I have a Dakota lithium battery and charger currently, but would like to pick one of these up as an extra. Is it possible to charge this brand on a Dakota lithium charger? Thanks!

    I seen a your video of where you tune a crankbait and I recently got a crappie crankbait and it keeps flipping to its side every time I cast

      Follow the tuning process in the vid...it should work. Unless the lure is a lemon...
