2) powerful in 3,6,8,10,11th house - most powerful
See which house debilitated planet is ruling in your chart, it will give results accordingly
3) planet exalted or ruler of debilitated sign sits in 1,4,7,10th house
4) planet debilitated in D1 but gets exalted in D9

if both planets (debilitated and canceler/exalted planet) are combust or sitting with sun, then what effects it would give. for example Venus+mercury+sun in Virgo in 5th house? also what if the debilitated planet is ascendant (if Venus is ruler of 1st house, because of taurus sign in ascendant)?

For example. In Virgo ascendant, Moon is in 3rd house and Mars is in 4th house. So it forms Neech Bhanga Raj Yoga, or it doesn't form because of Mars in 4th house forming mangalik yog.

I have Sun at 13 degrees Libra and Mercury at 11 degrees and Venus at 9 degrees in the 3rd house, is this still Neech Bhang Raj Yoga even through it Mercury and Venus are combust?

@@AstroEdify If there's double cancelation? Does it give better results? Example Sun debilitated in Libra ninth house is with exalted Saturn. Venus in Kendra 11th house along from moon in fifth house.
My Mars is debilitated in 3 house conjunt with moon in rasi chart,also exalted in navamsa chart. Can you please give me its effects
I have NBRY in Navamsa for the 7h lord[ Saturn]. Does tht mean i will suffer in my married life first and then the NBRY will kick in ?? OR NBRY will kick right from the start of my married life since i am 34 ??

Thanks for the video. A useful one. I have a chart of a person chart a lady having Cancer lagna having mars in cancer and lord moon is exalted in 11H,Does it cause neechabhang? Same person is having retro Jup in capricorn and its lord is exalted in 4H in libra. This is perfect neechabhang. pl give our comments... thanks

+AstroEdify Hello, does this apply to navamsa chart also? If so, then does functional benefic and malefic malefic planets change from rasi to ascendant? I have this yoga for debilitated mars in my rashi chart but jupiter(1.29) is conjunct with sun(1.39) in 1st house but both are functional benefics. Does this apply then?

Depends on degree of conjunction
Can Rahu/Ketu also make Neech Bhang?....For example - Ketu is exalted in Scorpio...so if ketu is in conjunction with debilitated Moon in Scorpio, will Neech Bhang occur?
Namaskar, Sita of Bangalore has Budh debilitated in 14 degrees Meena. Budh is cazimi but Sita has not completed a university degree through lack of application.

PS: I've heard in western astrology that planets unfavorable is placed in each other's dominant sign (e.g. Jupiter in Capricorn, Saturn in Pisces since Jupiter rules Pisces and Saturn rules Capricorn), it cancels out the negative effects. Is it true sir?

yes ..parivarthna yoga form b/w 1st , 10th jupiter b/w 11th ,12th sat..but neech bang here not fully occure..but u did not mention where moon is..any way for pis asc jup is kendradipati dosha karaka..but he is in 11th neech house so kendraadipati dosa nutralized..he will become banific to 11th house now

+Latha l Not necessarily however sun will surely get some strength but not undergo a neechbhanga. For that see the position of saturn.

Muntazir Mehdi yeah moon is giving you a strong support but jupiter is really giving you a Neech Bhanga raja yoga. Also the debilitated planet is sitting in the 8th house so this yoga in ur chart is really powerful.

So, to qualify for a neecha bhanga raja yoga, the planet lord in which the jupiter would be exaulted (moon), moon would have to be placed in the kendra houses (1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th house), is that correct? Would moon being placed in the 1st house in leo for that debilitated jupiter qualify as a neecha bhanga raja yoga? Also, would saturn being placed in the 8th house pisces and sun placed in 12th house leo harm that debilitated Jupiter?
