I like this house very very much. The only thing I did not like was that there were no hand railings on the stairs. The view in the summer must be fantastic.
Smart house is not smart choice I believe. If all lights, heating, locks etc is controlled, it is possible to hack into the system to take complete control of this place.

So I stand corrected, 10.7 sq ft equals 1 sq meter. So dividing 2,444 sq ft by 10.7 equals 228 sq meters, which makes house still too expensive, even though it has modern amenities.

A lot of people would like a house like that but the only thing I saw there that I liked was you. I'm a simple man that likes living simple. A comfortable home in the mountains with no neighbors for at least a mile is more appealing to me.

300 sq meters equals 984 sq ft. I live in 2,400 sq ft house. Yes I boast! House is too Expensive!
1 square meter is 10.76 square feet
This Kiev house has 3220 ft.² … that is 34% bigger than boasting Barney Bush’s. But 2400 ft.² is all the room you need. I’m pretty happy in Toronto with 1000 ft.² plus a 500 ft.² basement / office… It’s all about exactly where you want to live and how much debt you want.

Also check out the 'Johnny FD' channel, an american with videos of amongs else looking at and buying some appartments for himself in Kiev, ukraine. He is in thouch with several real estate agencies that seem quite used to deal with foreginers. He looks at smaller used appartments, but I'm sure some of those agencies also can find luxuary homes.

I was watching Ukrainian news last night and a businessman from Turkey shot at least one man who was part of a group that tried to break into his home. Just outside Kiev I think.

But very interesting how this Turkish guy had gun while its not allowed. It means he is not simple guy and there is some story behind this fact.

Nice but for me I am now on the No Go ideas for any business in Ukraine or buying home and land because with Putin threatening war in Ukraine, I feel Ukraine is too dangerous to invest in.
I will invest in Moldova and in Romania and Romania is an EU country, so Putin is shit out or luck making war or problems in Romania.
I am very close to leaving American for good now, so I am coming to most likely Moldova where I have lived before to spend my life.
I would be fearful of Moldova too as it’s not in nato either and bite size for putin

Like the outside, like the details inside the house. But they are totally waisted, because it's too claustrophobic and chaotic . Never seen a 300 square meter house been claustrophobic before.
I don't see it is claustrophobic but maybe it looks like that in video.
Perhaps I'm just biased, from Denmark, Scandinavian minimalist design. I like the materials, but still think everything is too small except for the closest. Maybe cultural differences 😉

I also noticed that the appliances have a very “built in” design, so replacing them with exact fit in the future might be a real pain… Especially if the dimensions of popular sizes change. You basically have to rip out the kitchen.

The style of the home is nice. The lay-out and some of the finishes, not so much. Didn't care for the faux wood paneling and a small closed galley kitchen, what is up with that? Too small and closed in.
