- Set these up to show just how bright the scorpion is. It really cuts through even with other bright effect lighting. Really happy with these. Video doesn’t do the lights justice. Enjoy!!!
So in this video you have two mini Kintas and a scorpion (middle)?
That's awesome.... what dmx controller are you.using?? .... your master/slavin g the mini kinta? (Is this pre-,,programmed or are u doing live dmx controlling.... also I didmt know you.can run only 2 colors on the mini kintas?... I was looking at that chauvet obey 40 and it didnt have that...
I'm new to all.of this and just bought 2 mini kintas with IRC controller and 2 carrying cases amd stand for $234.... any help.would be appreciated.... I'm only doing for home use...I love leds.... are you using a hazer to ? Or just fog?
@Just hanging out I actually figured out most of it since I played around with it... most of this is using the irc remote on the 2 kintas and sound on the laser... check out my youtube...both top 2 videos I used sound active on everything... I ended up getting dual rgb laser too..... I also got a $50 dmx... (coz-192) tops..compared to a obey 40...now that's hard to use....and I'm omly.going to use it for the laser...with the kintas would be to hard ....
Boy, you definitely don't get the full value of these fixtures when you're just running them in sound-activated mode. I bought two Chauvet Scorpions to hang from a bowling center ceiling, and they don't look anywhere near this good running independently.
How do you get the mini kinta's to stay a solid color for so long? Mine constantly switch modes in auto, displaying a bunch of colors. Yours seems to stay solid color for much longer.
Alex Wiz I was using the remote control on the mini kintas. Laser was just on sound active.

So the $300 Scorpion has only green LASER colour available to you?!?

Brian L no DMX at all. Just sound activated mode on everything.
I did play with the remote on the mini kinta lights. Laser is just on sound active mode.
