- In this Farmhouse Tuscan French Country 3 Tier Tray Lazy Susan Diy 2019, I show how I Make a 3 tier tray that is also a lazy Susan. I make the tray out of 1/2 inch plywood. Next, I paint the wood with Waverly chalk paint in Hazel Nut and dry brush it with Waverly chalk paint in Cashew. I show how easy and inexpensive it is make a custom 3 tier tray that is also a lazy Susan. This tray is perfect for French Country, Farmhouse or Tuscan decor.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
1/2 inch plywood
Three 3/4 Galvanized Floor Flange from the plumbing section at Lowe’s.
Two 3/4 x 6 Galvanized Steel pipe nipples from plumbing section at Lowe’.
Everbilt Lazy Susan turntable from Lowe’.
Rust-Oleum Hammered spray paint in Brown from Lowe’.
Waverly chalk paint in Hazel Nut from Walmart.
Waverly chalk paint in Cashew from Walmart.
Screws :
For base to lazy Susan 1/4 in - 20 x 1 inch machine screws two packs from Lowe’
Bottom tier #10 x 1/2 inch wood screws
Middle Tier 1/4 in-20 x 1 1/4 inch machine screws two packs from Lowe’s.
Top tier #8 x 1/2 inch wood screws from Lowe’s.
Hot glue gun is what I used and gorilla glue.
Screw driver
Tape measure
Ratchet
MEASUREMENTS:
Base for Lazy Susan is 11 3/8 a little over.
Bottom tier 17 3/4
Middle tier 14 1/2
Top tier 11 3/8

Absolutely 👍👍👍💯 My top of the List Favorite Craft you have demonstrated making. It's Fantastic. So very cool. Lazy Suzannes are very handy anywhere. And especially when their mobile. Would be great on a pretty tea cart to use for finger sandwiches. Would be great to use at a coffee bar to store coffee/tea pods, stirrers, sugar packets/sugar cubes, creamer pods. Would also be great to use in craft room to store small embellishments, Paintbrushes, markers or other misc.art supplies. Would be great in bathroom on vanity to store makeup supplies. Many uses. Gosh, I wish we were neighbors. Love Tamson 😇 💖

I'm just now seeing this and I have to say it's GORGEOUS! Im more of an industrial decor and look kinda gal. this would be so easy to duplicate and make my own by just spraying it matte black, and adding a large finial at the top. thanks so much for the inspiration 🤍

Ok gotta try this. I'm sure after I get mine finished, I'll be needing to make at least 1 or 2 for my daughters. These would come in handy and look so nice at children's birthday parties. Great job 👍
You hit it out of the park with this DIY for sure! I especially love the Lazy Susan aspect, which makes it even more versatile than a stationary tiered tray. You rock! Your husband did a superb job of cutting the plywood for you and drilling pilot holes for the screws, too! Genius he thought of putting that hole in the Lazy Susan so you had a way to get access to tighten the screws from below! 😅💜💚 He's a keeper for sure! 💞🌹😙

I love it. I have 2 turntable kits! I have had them since a couple of years. We are going to redo our kitchen and one will be permanently attached beside my stove area. The other will be moveable. My plywood was cut down to squares to store. They will be circles. I already have a turntable in the middle of my table. But it is only one tier. It too has a ring of wood around it.
Mine is very dark wood with a metal tray covering the top, but removable.

The day I drove into Pensacola from the interstate I could not believe the destruction. It was my 1st storm. I had a one ton pickup and an 18ft. dump trailer. And I was one of 3 women! We worked from daylight to sun down. Long hours! No restaurants! And one convenience store with a gas station!
I met some lifelong friends there. I loved my work. And everyone was so friendly and helpful. I love Pensacola and Perdido Beach! I am still shocked at the fact that some of both on the coastline is still not used. Of course MS is the same way!
