I return from auschwitz to our home
So happy to be here again
At the place where I was born
Where it all began
I can see the house
I am so excited at this moment
After all these years
I can't stop the tears
At the same place by the window seal
The red roses are blooming still
And my heart can't bear to feel

The same beloved bench still stands
My dear mother
Always sat on it
But it's all like a dream
A nightmare to me
A nightmare that came to be
And at its end my parent's souls
Went up in smoke for evermore
