I think this kind of dialogue is so important in our space, but I have a very different opinion on the purpose of hardware synths over VSTs and whether or not they are a scam. Synths are in no way a scam. This video is my opinion and made in good faith. Please keep it respectful in the comments, Espen Kraft is an awesome RUclipsr and his video brings up some interesting points even if I do not agree. I will only be responding to his points around VSTs, as I don't manufacture synths and do not know how much parts, R&D and labor costs. I will only stick to what I know professionally: producing records on synthesizers.
