76/80 and Carter discovered the tomb. Another great quiz, thanks Ben!
Great quiz! Howard Carter discovered Turanhamun's tomb in 1922. I got 70/80. I always wanted to visit Israel and Egypt.
I got 35. I’m not so familiar with geography. Thanks for sharing
75/80 correct. Interesting play on words in question 50 ... Wat, Wen Wy 🙂 Although the Tasmanian Devil is a marsupial, most people wouldn't call it large; it's the size of a small-to-medium size dog. Interestingly, I've been to many of the places in the quiz. Patagonia is one place I'd like to visit.
Great score. Yes, I had a bit of fun with the wat, wen, wy. 😁 Thanks for playing
This was a hard one. I didn't even get most of the questions let alone the answers. Keep up the good work.
65/80 Thanks for these geography quizzes,Ben. My only chance to go globe trekking. Carter found Tuts tomb.Have a perfect weekend. 👍😁
You have a great weekend too. Thanks for commenting 😁
My only way of globetrotting now too. 😀💕👍
74 correct and, by a very large margin, the country I would most like to visit is Japan
Me too, but a bit worried about the earthquakes.
Japan is delightful. Just get a good guidebook to understand some customs and buy your JAL Pass BEFORE you get there. Much more expensive in Japan.
80/80, would love some really difficult geography quizzes
Thank you Ben, Loved this one! I'll just stay here in the USA:) I did better than I thought on this, didn't keep count.
Missed 3 out of 80. I'm happy with that
77/80 for Team Harlow this Saturday evening. Nice set of questions. As for the country we'd love to visit Lithuania and hopefully meet Big Z. Thanks for the interesting Earth journey Ben 😮
Carter discovered Tutankhamuns tomb... I would like to visit London...Got 78/80...
60 of 80 correct. Geography is my weakest subject & strangely enough my college major in 1978.
Greece, I would love to visit
73/80 q29 Howard Carter Thailand, great quiz thanks again Ben very enjoyable 👍👍😁🏴
Well done! Thailand is a beautiful place.
68 (including the bonus!)
74/80 and Greenland is where I'd like to go play tourist
No I didn't forget about this channel! I'm back and I got 77/80 correct, thanks to my interest in geography.
Welcome back!
Great quiz, I did way better than I thought that I would, lol!
That's always a bonus. 👍😀
67 and I can't wait to visit Venezuela
75/80. Got #35 wrong, so checked definitions of the Caspian. Hadn’t realised it had brackish water so a sea not a lake. Interesting to find that out, thanks. 🇬🇧👍. Japan above everywhere else. By miles.
Yeah, I had to double check that one before I posted it. Thank you for playing 😁
You’ve got some knowledgeable quiz takers. I only got 66/80. I want to visit the UK. I’ve never been and English history is my hobby. Part of the family is from Wales.
Three wrong. I surprised myself😅 thanks for another great quiz Ben.
76/80 should have got a couple more. I have the advantage that I've lived in many countries. Where would I like to visit? Slovenia and Cuba and maybe China.
78 (+Howard Carter)
I always love returning home to New Zealand
77/80 and it was Howard Carter who found King Tut's tomb. If I could visit anywhere I'd pick the Taj Mahal...thanks for another great quiz, Ben! :-)
Show off! 😛
67 without bonus. İ would like to visit New whotsit close to Ossie country, sorry still no new keybord. Best fun, cheers.
74/80 Columbia or Costa Rica
I missed four today, Ben. If I could travel, I would love to visit Venice.
Great choice. I spent a day lost in the back streets of Venice. Found a great little bar for lunch and a place that sold wine straight from the barrel in plastic bottles for about 1 euro a litre. It was a great day off the beaten track. 😁
79/80 (just slipped up on Venice) with the options; 69/80 without.
Q29 bonus is Howard Carter.
66/80 I felt like I did well on this one. Bonus: Howard Carter. I would like to go to Reykjavik Iceland.
Greetings from South Africa. I got 70 correct. Have always wanted to visit South America. Thanks for a great quiz.
Really wish to visit Quebec.
75/80 Howard. India. Thanks Ben. Great Quiz. 😊🇿🇦
58/80. Howard Carter discovered Tutanhkamun's tomb. I've long been fascinated by ancient Egypt, would love to visit.
Hi Ben. 75/80! Well pleased. Howard Carter discovered the tomb. The place I would most like to visit is Malta. I lived there for four years back in the sixties as a child of a soldier, and of all the countries we lived in, that was the lovliest by far. I'd like to see it again, and will try to ignore how built up and "touristy" it has become. Back then it was paradise! Always in my memory.
Thank you for sharing, great memories 😊
Howard Carter was the archaeologist and Lord .Carnarvon financially sponsored him. Archaeology and paleontology are my foremost interests. I missed 3 questions on this quiz. Very interesting and fun quiz, Ben. Thank you! I always wanted to visit Egypt.😊👍
Me too. I've been to Egypt on the Red Sea, but I've always wanted to visit luxor, Cairo etc. but nowadays I think it's too dangerous. Maybe one day I will go. Thanks for playing. Have a great weekend 😁
1:38 whenever talking about sami territory i personally prefer to call the area where the sami live as "sapmi" since that is what they call it. "Lappland" is a name southern scandinavians came up with and it means "Lapp country" and the word "Lapp" is a very derogatory word to use when it comes to the sami people as it's like using the n-word
Fun quiz-I got 75. London/UK in general, is at the top of my wish list, followed by Australia, New Zealand, Patagonia, Iceland-top 5, but there are LOTS of places I’d love to visit.
Yes, too many to choose from 👍😁
61 correct
Better than my usual. 76/80
57/80
I'm not going to swear on Trump's Bibble today as I only managed a paltry 70. I ended up being thankful for the generous smattering of gimmes.
66/80. That was a good quiz, Ben. Thank you. ♥ I've been to the UK and loved it, but I would also love to visit New Zealand.
I enjoyed New Zealand, but thought it was a very long way to go to see somewhere that looks just like Scotland 🤣
@@Quizzes4U Ah, but Scotland, beautiful as it is, doesn't have Hobbiton. 😉😍 I love Scotland, although I've only seen a little bit of the South.
68/80
Great quiz Ben. Loved my World tour with you. I dropped only 5.
Great job!
70 correct and carribean 😊
I would love to visit Ireland!
Beidh fáilte romhat
74/80. Howard Carter, and one place I haven't been for some reason, but would really like to is Prague.
Prague is beautiful, especially the Christmas market in Old Town square. Well worth a visit.
78/80 Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutanchamon
Great score 😀
a great quiz. Made me use some brain cells. BUT...Asking about things like a certain dance or what a specific word means is not geography. That being said, great job. I got a 68.
Glad you enjoyed it. I did mention at the start that it was "mainly" geography, so I added a few other questions I thought were interesting about those countries. 😁👍
72- I would to visit Vietnam!
Great choice 😁
71
73
I got 10 wrong. I would like to visit Switzerland.
Carter discovered Tutankhamen's tomb... funded by Lord Cardavon. Great quiz, Ben. Cheers. Hmmm, Denmark... I'd love to visit Madagascar... the animals!!!! What about you?
I would love to visit Japan, drive the garden route and also see Monument valley. Probably not on the same trip though 🤣
@@Quizzes4U Great choice!!! Don't forget Nara where deer walk the streets.
@@Quizzes4U I'm from South Africa so I grew up having holidays along the Garden Route. Like most places it was so unspoilt back then (showing my age!)
It's still worth it now tho especially Knysna and Plett but try and avoid public holidays which end in long weekends and school holidays and you'll enjoy it far more.
The Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape is also amazing. It's called the Strandloper (Afrikaans for beach walker) Trail. Five day hike (or hotel hop). Incredibly popular. Starts at Kei Mouth.
I have family who used to live in Durban and Cape Town, but I've only managed to visit Durban and the Drakensberg. Both were great, but I would one day love to drive the garden route. I especially fancy the wine tasting 😋
@@Quizzes4U I'm lucky enough to live in Cape Town near vineyards but my other favourites are Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and the Overberg (Hermanus). Spoilt for choice here! The Drakensberg is still an amazing place to visit but unfortunately the same can't be said of Durban now. I would never live anywhere else though. Cape Town is just the best!
Even in. Quebec, Engish is alsonan official language, the country is bilingual everywhereljs
76🎉🎉🎉🎉
77 correct plus maccu piccu
67-13, or 83%.
83.75, round to the closest whole. 84% great score! (I got the same 😅)
I've already been to Jerusalem, but I works love to go back to Israel for another pilgrimage and go to Jerusalem again.
This was too easy, only missed one. Unless of course it was aimed specifically at Americans in which case they would fail 😂
If you were a teacher, you would explain the right answer. It wouldn't take much time and it would also be educational.
These are facts. What can you explain about them?
FYI, in Thai language kho doesn't equal ko. The kh = English k. However, k = g. So, island in thai is pronounced like saying a very short "gaw". Kho might be a Thai word, but is not one I know.
Thanks for the info. I'm not going to begin trying to pronounce things in Thai. 😳👍 I visited Thailand a few times, beautiful place. I can't remember the locals saying different to ko, but maybe that's just for the tourists.
@Quizzes4U likely. Many Thais who deal with tourists can decipher our words quite well. Tonal language makes it even harder. I know people who have lived here for 30 years and know barely any Thai and they get along just fine.
How many of these did I get right?
Was it:
-10?
73?
or 100?
Got three wrong
Despite you saying they weren't all geography...they were nearly all geography! I was fine all the way through Europe, but fell apart in Africa and Asia, though I made some pretty good guesses. After that did reasonably well, but geography ain't my forte! Absolutely brilliant quiz, by the way: so many of them offer such ludicrous multiple choice questions that even if you don't know the answer, you can usually guess, so it's a waste of time.
Iam 77 years old I had a stroke 4 years ago I managed 64 questions right not bad a few mistakes
Great score.
I am Dumb in all subjects( ͡°Ĺ̯ ͡° )
There is one you've you've not found yet!!
@@kattydover6356 I hope maybe, Btw your intro? I am not forcing you hehe!
