Beautiful Matt! One can really understand the solemnity of the Byzantine faith with this interview. The pacing of the piece really helps deliver the message. Great job!
Protestant, here. I was raised in an ethnic church, and still belong to one. I always take an interest in other ethnic Christian communities. I think that the pinnacle of any society, any culture is how they worship the Lord. I love to see these traditions being maintained so many thousands of miles and hundreds of years from their places of origin. We're blessed with an abundance of such things here in Northeast Ohio. I would've liked to have seen the Carpatho-Rusyn clerical garb, too.
I appreciate you checking out the video! You're right. Having lived in other parts of the country, we're truly blessed to have so much ethnic and cultural diversity in our area. Thanks!
@@mattycreative I am slightly envious of the vibrancy that seems to exist in so many Slavic churches, particularly. Church, food, language, music, folk traditions all seem to be important. I presume it must be down to to more recent immigration.
Thanks for checking out the video! Well, I think he does dress like a Byzantine priest....during Divine Liturgy. I wouldn't expect him to sit for an interview in vestments designed and meant for the solemnity of the DL. Thanks for checking it out!

Crazy how he couldn't dress like a Byzantine priest this one time

@@mattycreative I believe they were referring to what a Byzantine priest wears outside Liturgy, the cassock, etc., not vestments.
