To give an example, Calibre made more than 300 songs before he released his first album, with only 21 of them. His Shelflife albums are collections of his back catalogue released at times when they fit the mood of the scene.
The bandcamp page for the album says "Mako’s commitment to his musical community is evident throughout the album, with contributions from long-time collaborators Fields, Hydro, Villem, and Mikal, each bringing their unique expertise to the project. The album also features a special collaboration with the late Marcus Intalex, a friendship that blossomed in the years before Marcus’ untimely passing and one that continues to bear fruit. "
@@GrahamYoung-oj8gh Indeed everything is DrumnBass, but purists say LTJ Bukem and his label Good Looking Records is more Intelligent DnB. I believe Marcus Intalex and DJ Randall also join the cohort of Intelligent DnB music, Rest in Bass legends 🙏🙏
@@deepakkumar99933 purists will know that intelligent drum and bass was a daft name to label the lighter side of drum and bass, like liquid funk another label given to drum and bass. Before that it was darkcore, artcore, it’s like saying Dillinja makes stupid drum and bass
@@GrahamYoung-oj8gh You and I, do not individually dictate where mass cultural semantics are derived from, it populates within the medium and propagates through sheer fandom. Plus you need to chill out and listen to some liquid funk from Seba, stop making it a bigger issue than it needs to be. I guess people hate the term that triggers them the most, Intelligent DnB is not for you 😁 Do you hate the name for other sub genres, since it was called Jungle at some point, perhaps you hate that it was also called Neurofunk, Jump Up, Halftime, Darkcore too?
@@deepakkumar99933 I’m chill mate I like drum and bass doesn’t matter what form it takes, it was called jungle and had to change the name otherwise it would have been banned due to gang culture, a purist would know the history, it’s not hate mate it’s just knowing the history, I’m not trying to dictate anything, drum and bass is the most innovative music there is it just doesn’t need to labelled differently for commercial gain, if you’re asking me do I hate good looking records and all things ltj related I definitely do not hate, he’s an original.
